Good find man. That is interesting. I just hate when players sign contracts because they care more about their pr and image. If he knew they were going to royally suck then he should of manned up and said you know what I make enough money I'll take a cut to win a championship in Chicago. As many posters have stated he had his chance. He signed because of the money I get that. But how greedy can you be  . Melo said the Lakers would only be Melo and Kobe. Well sh*t that is a lot better than anything in NY. Melo is not the brightest person in the world.

Whats funny is the way people were counting us out during the offseason Melo wars, I got the impression that they were implying that Melo to NY was a better team than Melo with Kobe. If we did get Melo during the offseason, I'm sure we could have gotten a more competitive supporting cast than who we have now.

Lakers would have Gasol, Melo and Kobe. Nick Young off the bench. Melo made wrong decision

That's a 55 win team. Lakers would be right there with the Spurs and Warriors.

I agree that a team with Pau, Kobe, and Melo, with Nick coming off the bench would be good offensively and win close to 50 games, but doubt they'd approach the Spurs or even GSW since there would be no defense played.

Defense comes down to team D. They would figure it out. 3 All Star caliber players on the same team. You can't do better than that.

Well, we'll see how this ends up! Maybe he gets the money and gets to a good team! Then he'd be real smart. 8-)

Thanks for the honesty.
