Kobe is making the team less than it could be. The ridiculous shots at crunch time are just bad basketball ... over and over.

And yet they're shots he could hit.

I guess in a way it's win win because the season is one month of this pace away from being a write off, and the team still fights.

What's so frustrating is that these are winnable games. If Kobe decides to pass to an open man or drive to the basket for a higher percentage shot, we easily could have taken this game.

He makes the shot. No one is complaining. I thought it was a good look personally

Not mad about the loss, it was a very winnable game. My only gripe right now is Kobe's own will to seek whatever it is he's seeking. If he's so fatigued like he and Scott hints to....then take a game off. He's the only superstar in the league so far who hasn't taken a game off.

At 36 it's either cut the minutes to 28-31 or take a game off and lets see if this team can function without him for a whole game. These bad shooting games are only a result of tired legs and a combination of other things Kobe puts himself in as far as shot selection.

Other than that team is on the same pace for win as last season, but....the play is better on most nights and I've seen a ton of improvement.

Good Try Killer! It wasn't the shot I wished he would have shot, but it was more than make-able. I enjoyed the game.....I sure hope Ronnie can continue to drain shots like that or atleast at a decent rate.......I loved the way Ed played tonight. ...Man I miss a big dominant inside presence. We need to do everything we can to GET MARC GASOL HERE in the off-season....I mean throw the whole MAX at him, Tell him HE is the NEXT GREAT LAKER CENTER, show him all the TROPHIES, the LAKER LEGENDS that came before him, the GREATEST CENTERS ON THE PLANET sans bill russell and hakeem the dream. Make sure he know that here, here, in a LOS ANGELES your going to win a CHAMPIONSHIP and hopefully a DYNASTY with the LAKERS, because thats what this organization does MAKES DYNASTYS.....not a chip.... DYNASTIES......I think I just wet my pants imagining Marc holding the post down for us.....Anyway Nick was starting to heat up and pulled a Ron Artest on us, just checked out of the game (Weirdo) That was the key to us losing this game if anything because who know how the lakers would have finished this game with his services....I'm starting to believe this season is toast....Let's hope some of these guys prove themselves throughout the season and are able to get a new contract. Wes needs to take a Paul George improvement throughout the season....He has the potential, just needs to keep refining his game, getting more consistent and reliable. We need to look at packaging J.Hill up in a deal to bring in someone like OJ Mayo and Henson. Then we could give Booz his starting gig back and run ed at the 5. Bring Henson off bench a C and Run OJ as the starting PG. OJ has a little bit of Defense (just a lil) a pretty good on ball and off ball game. A good Combo Guard to run along side Kobe. I think Milwaukee would pull this deal too because OJ isn't a part of their future and neither is Henson. I'm not sure if OJ can handle the Top Flight PG's in the WEST tho.
