I had them going 3-7 the first 10 and still admitted I thought that was being overly optimistic
I dunno bro, I don't think anyone had us projected to win less than 20 games this season. Nobody was talking about being in contention for the top 3 pick again. Actually, winning 20 games would be major improvement if you project our current win % over 82 games (10 wins). It's just frustrating knowing there were franchise players available in this draft and we ended up with just an adequate starter in Russell (aka Jeremy Lin 2.0). It's frustrating that Byron's system is just so awful on both ends. If we were able to become at least a 30 win team we could've lured a free agent. Unless we get lucky and win the lottery, we may end up with no 1st rounder and no big free agent signing. Which would very likely doom us to being pretty much the worst team in the league.
I never thought we had a superstar on our hands, but I was at least hoping we could put it together by committee like the jazz. We're about as good as the sixers and they're intentionally tanking with that roster.
