Hibbert is good defensively with certain type of defenders and vs a certain style of play. My main issue with him is that he can drag an offense. With our 2 main young wings being PnR heavy he does not need a lot of floor time with them.

I think the better question is "does frozenicecubes have a future with the lakers board".

No way in hell. I'd rather give Ezeli the same contract Hibbert wants and Ezeli is probably only the 3rd best C available in the market this summer

I would love hibbert to resign for cheap. He is our best free throw shooter and a solid defender.

He would be a great piece.

I love him, but not a fan as starter especially with the young group - if we can get someone like Cousins or other Centres who can run and gun with the young trio - I'd be a happy camper - Hibbert would be awesome off the bench.

In most situations, Hibbert, to me, is best utilized as a starter.

My philosophy, though, in constructing rosters is to have more offensive players coming off the bench for big minutes.

Hibbert as a role playing, defensive big in the starting lineup with three high usage youngsters is perfectly fine. Matter of fact its ideal.

I will concede that if Hibbert is your starter though, you need a Bison Dele/Hot Rod Williams-like backup to really make it work.

He should go to Memphis maybe and be a backup there. He's too old to fit in the Lakers long-term plans.

I really don't know why you guys are so quick to want hibbert gone, he's been one of the few guys with a pulse every game this season
