Big props to the big man!

He could finnish in the top 10 in the NBA in RPG
is slightly behing Kevin love and Anthoney Davis in RPG (while playing more games than both)

At worst, Randle is an elite rebounder.

Hibbert being a non-entity at rebounding helps a bit
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

I was wondering that myself recently, I mean Hibs literally doesn't go for a defensive rebound unless it hits him first, I do wonder if Randle's stats are inflated from playing with low rebounding centers? (Regardless, not saying he isn't a good rebounder).

That's pretty impressive for someone experiencing their first year of game action.

He's just got to add a jump shot, right hand and post game over the course of the next 2 years.

Learn to play defense wouldn't hurt either. He can't give up low post points to opposing big like he has been and expect to play on a winning team.

play defense takes time i guess, especially for someone who doesnt play D regularly throughout his career.

Wow, a rookie(his 1st year don't count to me) with the most rebounds among power forwards. This is special. I was really hoping Randle would be the next Barkley. I know that's a big dream, but he has the tools to be like Barkley. He has Barkley's quickness, agility, power, and an array of inside moves. If he can just develop a "softer" outside shot, and the ability to read the defense better, he could be an all star player in this league.

I really like randle's motor, he doesn't give up on a board ever. With that said, sometimes I feel like people are setting themselves up for disappoinment when they mention things they want to see him improve as if it's going to be easy.

While he has a knack for getting his shot off near the rim, he doesn't really have any post moves. His shot is still a ways away and if he can even get to current Blake griffin levels it'll be something to admire and appreciate. He still is very left hand dominant game which limits his face up game and the quality of shots he gets near the rim. His ability to pass is a strength, but his court vision limits how he uses that skill. Defensively like all rookies he's got a lot to work on.

Reason I mention all that is cause I sense that there really isn't an appreciation for everything he has to improve and I anticipate some turning on I'm when he doesn't improve at the rate that some of these unrealistic expectations are anticipating.

I'm of the opinion that we need to sell high on him, especially if we can get Simmons in the draft.

i like randle and am glad we took who we took with that 7th pick, but i agree we should try to trade him if we can get decent value. i'd be looking to package him w clarkson for a legit all star if thats at all possible. if not, keep them. he looks like he will be an above average player overall but never an all star, which is more than most can ask for from a 7th pick.

I wouldn't be opposed to trading him, but it's going to be tough to find a trade where we come out on top. Best case scenario? A star demands a trade, and ruins his team's leverage.

I just hope Boogie doesn't land here. I seriously hate that guy. He fills up the stat sheet, but he plays such a shameful brand of basketball, and implodes regularly. I've seen him routinely take 12 seconds to get back on defense because he's too busy crying to the refs for a foul. Everyone loves to blame the Kings, but he is a big part of the problem. I dare you to watch some of their games, it's like torture. His team isn't even that bad, and I think both Gasol brothers would've taken that roster to the playoffs.

People just don't understand what Randle is. They just don't know and follow the easy path that say he is not good, stealing his teammates rebound, has no skills etc. They just don't understand how special Randle is.

he play angry, don't know how to stop.. good trait as a rookie..

"but but but he blah blah blah". Stop it, he's a rookie, not a finished product. Just wait and see why i'm so high with his potential.

He is going to be an all-star.
He has a non-stop motor.

After his body fills out completely, he is going to just run over people.
He has shown he can actually hit some jump shots of late as well. Even some 3 pointers.

He's doing well but I'd still look to move him if we land Simmons.

Thats the problem, all he wants to do is run over people and get offensive fouls
