Long Shot: Signing Lebron to attract Durant to come here.

Is there anything that can be done to attract Durant to come to LA besides the history and location. Seems like the only thing that would get Durant's attention would be to sign Lebron. KD wants to win rings, but I'm betting that he doesn't want to go to an already proven contender like GSW or San Antonio to do it. He wants to make a team a contender. Lakers may not seem ideal, but actually, the Lakers have a clean slate and I read we have the most cap space out of any team.

If we got Lebron, Durant, and maybe Whiteside that would seem like a contender. I'm wondering could we afford all three? Then we trade the top 2 or top 3 draft pick for some nice bench pieces...and some how manage to retain DLo, Randle, and Clarkson through all this. I think Bass is a good role player and we retain him.

Might be just fantasy sure, but I'm just wondering if the math even works.
