Dwight is a infant and personally would not want him back.

Now if i'm looking at his objectively, IF Dwight was traded back here and was happy to just anchor the defense and play his role he could still find himself useful and productive enough to earn a 4-5 yr 20 Mil per deal. He would also find himself forced to fix the PR issues he made for himself when he left here to get a worthy enough contract in the offseason.

Where ever Dwight ends up, this second half of the season i'd expect him to play at his best so he can still show his a top 3 Big man in this league.

I know a lot of you have fantasies of us having HOF players at every position, but the Lakers really need to take any talent they can get.

I agree I would welcome him back because I think he fits this roster

It was a difficult time when he left.
Many of us, including me were very disappointed.

In retrospect, we dodged a bullet.
He is clearly on the decline.

And I would not want him back at all. Frankly at any price.

I'd rather have Whtieside over Howard as well, because, well, Whiteside is bascially a rich man's Dwight Howard at this point. He does many of the same things like rebounding and blocking shots, while having fewer issues such as health, age, professionalism and free throw shooting.

But the viability of Whtieside or Howard signing here really depends on the priority of the management. Whiteside is probably the better fit for a variety of different factors, but Howard has the name recognition value. He is still superman who can sell jerseys. Will this management ignore that aspect of the game when they make their decisions? I think the answer to that question might be trickier than we all thought.

Please not again. He doesn't get along with his teammates and seems like a cancer to an organization.

I'd only welcome him on a 5-million, 2-year contract.
