I remember this one poster who made the best game threads, really handy and creative with the photoshop. I think his name was Trix or something like that. This was way back in my lurking days so not sure anyone remembers him. Hell I might even have his name completely wrong, but shoutout to him as well.

Laker fan here since the Showtime era. My grandpa and my old man were solid Laker fans. They've been watching those games on TV when I started to like how the team plays. I've been through the ups and downs of the NBA's greatest franchise. From Magic's retirement, missing the playoffs, Nick Van Exel and Cedric Ceballos leading LA to the playoffs before the Shaq era, Three-peat, Kobe's rape case, Western conference contenders, I even cried when LA got ousted by the Spurs in '03, two-peat, Basketball reasons.

I started lurking here when there were rumors that Gary Payton was planning to join the Lakers.

I know this team will be competing again and I feel it starts this season.
