30 questions to countdown to training camp

An idea I shamelessly borrowed from the 76ers forum. As we are entering the end of the offseason with just about a month to go for training camp to start, I thought it might be a good chance to count down the days with a poll and a new topic for each day.

I'll kick off the first poll today but if any of you have ideas that you'd like to poll for one of the days, use this thread to discuss and hopefully reach a consensus so each idea gets a topic for a day.

Would Luke be crucified by fans if he doesn't start 2 out of the 3 lottery picks. ex. Randle and Ingram or Randle and Russell come off the bench.

I think he has to start Russell. Who else? Huertas? Russell is an absolute, no doubt about it no-brainer for Luke.

I think you have to start Randle at the 4. Start Nance? Why? Randle has him nearly doubled in stats...playing 28 minutes to Nance's 20 minutes. Randle started...and usually played the opposing teams starters, it should be noted. He had a better PER.

When you include all the politics, the talent, etc etc....I think your starting lineup will be the following: Russell, Clarkson, Deng, Randle, Mozgov. Please understand this isn't the lineup I want.....but I think that's what we will see. Williams will have to beat out Clarkson....Ingram will have to be so effective that we bench Deng mid-season (you know that's gonna bring a wave of "why did we shell out $16+ mil for the guy??" questions at Jim and Mitch) and Nance will have to beat out Randle. I'm going to consider last season Randles' rookie season....since it basically was. He averaged a double-double. That's not half bad. He's the higher pick....yada yada yada. Nance has flashes...but I dont think he has beat out Randle.

Same with Ingram. You just signed Deng to this massive contract, and Ingram is way to small / frail to go banging with the SF's of this league for 30+ minutes. Bring him out against the other teams 2nd-string....let him learn...let him build some weight, some strength, and then consider starting him in a year or two.

I do think Luke will hear it, if Russell doesn't start. If Nance takes Randles spot....he better be insane-good, or he will hear it for that. I don't think anyone will think twice about him starting Deng. Not unless Ingram comes in and just wrecks it. Even then....I think Luke would preach patience...and how good he's doing in his role, and we dont wanna play him too much too early...and Luke would probably get a pass on it for quite a while.
