I think they only scored once...all they did was come in and jack up 3's when we could've easily worked for just getting a bucket. This is why I hate 3 point shooting in this day and age of the NBA.

Players think it's the only shot now. We was down 6 or so when they fired nothing but 3's. And since Julius doesn't shoot that shot he pouts big time when he doesn't get the ball and you can see it.

I'm usually really critical of Julius on the offensive end because his shot selection is really suspect. But when he works his ass off to establish deep post position, you've got to get him the ball. D Lo missed him on a couple separate occasions down the stretch, and you clearly tell that Julius was frustrated.

Luke has to find ways to incorporate Julius more in the offense. We go through too many long stretches where it feels like he's strictly a decoy or a liability like Tony Allen. Julius is the kind of player whose effort is dictated by the number of touches he gets on offense.

He's also better than anyone on the team at getting the shooters going... He get's guys like Russell, Lou, and Young the ball in position and clears out defenders, getting them wide open shots... I've seen him do it for all those guys in games. Even Ingram...

That said, I think he's visibly hampered by the hip thing still. So it may be tough for him to carry more weight than he is now.

If the Lakers win 30 games, season was a success IMO, although they will probably lose the pick.

Yeah, I mean, we get that... But I think we're reacting to how they're loosing... I think most of us feel this team is better than what we've seen over the last 10 games...
We've had a super tough schedule... Sure.
We're young... Of course...

But we're talented and we've shown that when we play the right way, we're in games against pretty much anyone... The problem is, we seem to have forgotten how to play the right way.

So while it isn't the end of the world, I think some level of concern is justified at this point.

Not sure if I buy that were too young of a team right now. We just need more players to step up. We were not going to be able to ride the Lou Train forever. Not sure if we can mount a comeback to .500 but you never know.
