Things that stood out...

Defense was active, we jumped the passing lanes for easy steals that led to easy buckets.

D-Lo and Randle were aggressive all game. I know the MO is to share the ball and move it but this offense has to be led by D-Lo and Julius. They have to be the playmaker and be aggressive scoring also.

Last thing...seem like we've found something with the Black-T-Rob combo. They provide the hustle and grit that we will miss from LJ, I like that pairing a lot.

No one should be surprised about Luke tweaking Julius, good coaches will do this hundreds of times in his career. Hell I used to love it when the media would let us know that Phil pissed off Shaq.

And Phil would be sitting there on the bench with that little smirk he had...because Shaq would come in and destroy whoever was in his path.

Luke has to know when to poke his guys. Not surprised by this bit the media will make it more than it is.

Good game. Luke subing out the 2nd unit and going back to the hot hands early in that 2nd quarter was key for us. First time he's done that all season. It was starting to look a little shaky there for a bit.

And how about that dribble weave/slashing play by BI?!?!?!... How do I order more of that? Cause I got the credit card ready! Lol

The guys looked good. Aside from maybe a few minutes at the start of the 2nd, and a few minutes at the end of the 4th the guys looked pretty good throughout the game. Solid game. Bout time!

Nice win.

When the ball moves from player to player, we have a chance to win. What a concept.

I like our chances whenever Julius and Russell are passing. Their willingness to share was contagious.

So are you against trading Lou Williams and Nick Nick Young? That's what most around here see as "tanking", giving the young guys all the minutes and being happy with them winning (for the experience) or losing (for the pick).

I like the idea of trading Lou. Opens up more minutes for Russell, Clarkson, Ingram. Calderon can play spot minutes.

Don't really see a need to move Young. Very small salary and he's done a good job fitting in attitude wise with the group. His outside shooting is needed and he doesn't get it off of a high usage rate. Most of it is catch and shoot, dribble hand off, etc.

The argument for moving Young now is that he'll cost too much this summer.

I suppose the real question is, how much will Young cost?

How much did guys like Joe Johnson, JR Smith, Matt Barnes, Gerald Green, and Steve Novak (I think he was a FA) make this past summer with the TV money increase?

How much is Young worth? Most people'll say "no more than two years". But what if it took a three or four year deal to keep him? What if he garnered an on average 10 or 11 million dollar?

Because the extra year, when used properly, in the right role, Lou Williams contract is, actually, better than Nick Young's.

I cant believe i actually dont want to see Young go for once BUT hes going ask for a raise, contract year.. Happens all the time in sports. So the better choice would be to move him.

Young's gone... If we can't trade him, we'll let him walk. I just can't see us gambling on him any longer. But it's a refreshing turn of events this season, none the less.

Imo Young has clearly been the Laker's 2nd best player this season. If he leaves he will greatly be missed. However, like some others on this board, I am unsure if he can sustain his shooting and defensive efforts once he gets paid. It might not be worth it to pay him as he's 31 going on 32 this season when we have younger guards that we can sign and/or develop.

If he walks, he walks. Oh well. We'll have to find someone else.
