We may be who we thought we were but the regression is concerning.
The lack of fight is worrisome.
It seems that they've stopped playing in some games, like today.

Wow....unfortunately I was at a sports bar watching my other team get blown out of the building. So I missed the game today. Looks like I didn't miss much.
Hmmm....49 points to Dallas? Kinda feels like we have something going on internally that we don't know about. That's sh** right there. That's not X's and O's.
Well.....I can't comment too strongly, since I didn't watch. But Jesus....49 points to Dallas?!

Yeah....the regression is disconcerting. We went from a feisty, overachieving, young story of the league to complete balls. And I've seen NOTHING in the way of "figuring it out" from anyone. That has me worried...players to coach.
I mean....losing half your star-power to injury is one thing. But Nance ain't that much of a difference maker. This team just "lost it"
Where the F**8 did it go?? Your guess is as good as mine

Ingram had how many assists starting at the PG?
Lou and Clarkson are scoring 2 guards in reality. The entire team was to blame for this mess of a game.
The top two players in the league in assists are scoring guards. Obviously i'm not expecting that type of playmaking out of Lou or Clarkson, but these two rarely (especially Clarkson) look to set up teammates. Clarkson does way too much dribbling to get his own shot of, and unlike Lou he's got a terrible FTr to go along with it. Inexcusable when you consider he's our most athletic guard by far. Let's not even bring up the fact that they are our two worst defenders. Yes even worse than Russell.

Part of this is because our vets are setting wrong examples for this squad. Lou is molding Clarkson into a chucking non-passing guard. Clarkson has the passing skills but I have no idea where it went.

Except Lou is a least somewhat efficient scoring wise while providing nothing else. Clarkson is on the other hand inefficient in that respect.

WTF happened? I got home from work expecting it to be a close game, and I saw that garbage instead.

Statistically Ingram has been horrible, so I'm not sure calling him one of the worst starters is really all that off point. Here's an example that someone posted in another thread

No argument here. Just noting that, in this particular game, no one got assists.
As for Clarkson and Williams. To me, Williams is who he is. He's effective as a scorer and little else. Clarkson is really a similar player and is really struggling to find his way in the second unit. He stops the ball a lot but in reality not much more than Williams. A reason that neither of these guys gets a lot of assists is the mix of guys they play with. It isn't like there is another scorer on the unit who you can set up and will score consistently other that the 2 of them. Not that either is predisposed to looking in the first place.
It is interesting that they are not great at moving the ball yet the second unit is our difference maker on most nights. That tells us a little about the entire team I'd think.
