IT is anything but a PG. IT on the Celtics, reminds me of what a peak Jordan Clarkson could be in the perfect situation.

what? lmao. I'm not the biggest IT fan but you can't deny that he's a legit elite offensively. I too disagree with the BOS homers that he's much more than a high usage stopgap not worthy of a max contract that won't get us over the hump unless everything else around him is perfect. But comparing Clarkson to IT? smh

I said CLarkson in the perfect situation... IT is pretty **** as a pg, but as a scorer is elite in today's NBA. Defensively crap as well.

JC might not be as good, but I think he could be comparable. IT fell into the perfect situation in Boston imo... Still think your teams sucks though

Clarkson, in the right situation, could be a +20 ppg guy but I'm not sure he could make the jump to being a 30 ppg guy. He's not in a situation right now that is conducive to his skill set. That much is becoming clear with him.

Perfect situation:

Shooters everywhere, 2 elite perimeter defenders and Crowder a very good one. So much space for IT to attack.

Look at Boston's 3 point shooters this season:

Their frontcourt:

Hortford: 34 percent
Olynck: 36 percent
Amir: 38 percent

THIS IS THEIR PF AND CENTER...

Look at our SFs that should be better 3 ball players...

Deng: 33
Ingram: 29

Their worse frontcourt player, shoots a better percentage than our Sfs do....
