ehh.....Lou was no worse than anyone else on our team the last 3 years or so.

Until we got Nwaba and Brewer :D. Oh yeah Nance has always been a defensive beast doe

Brewer looked pretty good defensively, didn't he. Nwaba didn't do anything that stood out, in my eyes. But you did sorta see overall defensive intensity ramp up when he and Brewer were out there. Brewer had 'statistical' impacts, but there seem to be a team impact by Nwaba. Placebo? I dunno. Pretty small sample size last night.

I am not the biggest proponent of defense. But I do admit you gotta at least be decent. And we're pretty awful overall. Def something that needs to get fixed next year.

Lol... What?!?!

Really makes me wonder what some of you guys actually see when you watch basketball. It's gotta be fascinating. Nwaba probably played some of the best man defense in his short 5 mins that we've seen in a long time.
Talking about how bad Julius Randle is:

Mitch Kupchak deserved to be fired, Mozgov and Deng were totally not in our plan, I can see you pay them that kind of money for 1-2 season but 4 years?? Those 2 are untradable too, I rather just have the money sitting around then having those 2 useless piece of junk

I agree.

However, I think this summer we have a chance to move them with packaging them with Clarkson and Randle. Throw in our 1st from the Rockets and maybe just maybe can we get at least one of those contracts off the books.

I surely hope we do move at least one of them, our best chance was moving one of them with Lou, but we used it on a low first round pick.....I don't mind packaging them with clarkson and randle, neither of them are gonna be great. Clarkson has all the physical tools to be great, but his basketball IQ is basically as bad as you can get as a NBA player. Randle on the other hand has shown some improvements and I hope he continues to get better.

Clarkson IQ is not that bad, its because he was playing with Lou, judge him after the season!

I sure hope so, we need every one of our young core to be better.
