I hope to god Pelinka has asked every team in the league if there is a suitable salary out for Deng or Moz plus Clarkson, and 28 if that is what it takes.

Dlo, however i would prefer they either move him and Moz/Deng plus 28 or Clarkson for George (if Indy goes for it)
or wait until at least the allstar break when you can see if he's trending star or needs to figure out a new home that believes he just needs to move to their city. (Philly).

i highly doubt just clarkson and 28 is gonna get it done, particularly with 3 years left on those contracts.

it'll be at the very least randle and 28, and clarkson (if they value clarkson)

if there aren't any bites, we may need to wait til the trade deadline to try to entice someone looking to do a youth movement rebuild

Clarkson should be traded. His value is high to other teams IMO and I dont really think he fits in with the long-term plan for the lakers

Is it high. I mean if we can get a pick in the mid first then sure. (assuming Randle and 28 gets it done for moving on our albatross deals, i'd imagine Deng + 28 for Hill gets it done for the Wolves given the fact Thibs is pres and Randle is probably enough of a temptation for someone to take on Mozgov).

I mean Clarkson for 17 maybe? If someone takes on Henson in that same deal or even we take him on instead, we can get a guy like Kennard.

I think his trade value is decent for the right team, his solid production vs. medium-level salary is not bad. But a non-playoff team would rather just draft a player instead, since ceiling may be higher and salary will be lower. The right team would be some sort of playoff contender that needs to improve their bench scoring without having to take on too much salary.

So maybe a later/late 1st? If we traded for a 2018 1st rounder (from a playoff team), it might give options for trading our own 2019 pick. Obviously the Lakers are anticipating it to be a late 1st by then, but other teams might think differently.

Can we trade the title to summer trade thread, because the title is very misleading. There is no evidence of him "getting traded" and in fact, there is more supporting evidence that D'angelo is staying with the team - which is what I hope happens. I'd really like to see what D'angelo, Ball, Randle, Ingram, and Clarkson can do next season.

Yep, until and unless anything changes, this might be a good time to pull the curtains down on this one.
