OT: Lakers On League Pass

Post#1 » by Tarik_shaq » Wed Jun 7, 2017 4:56 am

Question to some of you guys who use leage pass in order to watch nba games. Is it possible to follow one team and does league pass allow features where you can watch all 82 games pre-recorded for perhaps on demand? Or are there select games. Team i want to watch of course is lakers.

I will be moving to another country and time conflicts may be an issue.

Also, can i watch the games via phone app or on theor website on a computer?

You get a one team league pass for $99. All games are available recorded the next day I think. That's how I watch them.

I don't have cable.
So I got NBA league pass on my Xbox. 200$

Unfortunately about 1/4 of laker games were blacked out. (National games + when they played local team)
I watched a lot of basketball. It was awesome to have. I will 100% get it next year

It was worth it

Like when someone has an amazing game, but I was working or out with friends, boom, I can watch it whenever.

It's 100% worth it for the NBA fan tnget league pass. I feel I would be mad if I could ONLY watch the lakers. But I was mad almost every night as there was a game I wanted to watch and it was blacked out
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

For US league pass you can get past local blackouts with a VPN (although national televised game will still be blacked out). Won't be an issue for you if you are out of the country. Your best bet (and anyone considering league pass broadband) however is to get international league pass which has no blackouts and includes the postseason. Prices vary per country as much as double. Use a VPN or proxy to test prices. I believe there are posts on Reddit with pricing charts usually. Here's a thread that mentions this seasons pricing: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/54paqi/league_pass_pricing_201617/

I couldn't get it to work at all on the PS4 this year. Only my Macbook. Any reason as to why that would be?

It did work perfectly in 2015-16.

Maybe I just need an Ethernet cable instead of using Wifi, but I find it sucks. I just got it. For Laker games and finding streams, is it good?

Yeah, I'll have to try it again next year. I couldn't even get the NBA GameTime App to update and I think that's why it didn't work. Must have been some sort of Canadian issue. Stupid Canada.

I use it on wifi and connection is pretty good. It depends what addon you use.

The best one is Pro Sport.

Awesome. I'll definitely give that a shot. Thanks man.

Are you able to watch ESPN (the channel) on any of the add ons? I couldn't find that either.

Thanks for the answers guys. Looking to buy the beat package of LP now. Time constraints are bothersome but will get over it

No, I had problems with it all year and I live in Atlanta. They did a huge site overhaul this season and it just wasn't done very well.

It's absolutely hilarious (and annoying) that a big time company like the NBA, with a payroll so deep, has these issues.

I will never get League pass again... this year was horrible. I have really good internet and it lagged on my ps4, computer, and phone. During the second half of the season I just watched the games from the streams i find on reddit. They are free and HD.

Yes, /r/nbastreams will give you everything you need. There are premium paid services like hehestreams that are cheaper than LP but much better as well. The caveat though is none are legal. I haven't had international LP the last 2 years but it was always significantly better than the US one.

i subscribe to single team league pass watch Lakers games. you can watch live ofc. and the replay is usually up in a couple of hours. plus exlusive interviews and highlights. it's well worth it especially if you aren't interested in other team's games. summer league is included too i think. so it's only the all star weekend that's excluded.
