The Dan Gilbert thing is much about Dan Gilbert as it is as Lebron.

Dan Gilbert got his championship. he bought LeBron back he bought a championship back to Cleveland. he wants to own and run his team again. I think after the Warriors series and a lot of it that had to do with that fans didn't see is Dan Gilbert has been sticking his fists out a lot. the David Griffin thing. his appearances. he's acting like a guy who is saying this is his team. and he don't care what anybody says.

he's heard and read all the Lebron is running the team stuff. he has an egoe and these two alpha males are going at it. he's not going to give his team to LeBron.

he looks at like look I got the championship I want my team back. he bought the team so he's saying he'll just draft other players. he's probably nuts about paying that Luxury tax.

I think their was a lot of resentment with that Tristan Thompson contract I think he didn't want to sign it and Lebron made him after that championship run. he got his boy Rich Paul paid on a max. and it was a dumb basketball move. if you ask any nba exec no one would give Tristan Thompson 80 million it was insane.

that stuff continued the Gilbert Lebron beef and I think Gilbert don't want to pay that money anymore. he probably feels the team is good as they are going to be playing the warriors and he wants to make the moves again.

So Lebron bluffing thing nah that dude just doesn't want to play for Dan Gilbert and I think Dan Gilbert has put it out there that he's not going to be strongarmed by Lebron anymore and he just wants to run his team and he's not going after players to pay the max to.

He's definitely going to try to trade Tristan Thompson ASAP. Gilbert has been a lot more infront of the cameras this off season. and the fact that Cleveland hasn't hired a GM tells me that they aren't really trying to do all basketball things that LeBron says like Before.

So Lebron has every incentive to find another basketball team.

it's not good to keep your feelings bottled up... let em out tell us how you really feel... haha

Just saying, I never liked him and I never will like him. Too much praise for a guy that loses too much on the big stage. He started the era of this superteam **** as well. Basketball was awesome before the super team era. Now it's superteams and who can shoot the most 3 pointers.

I was teasing with you.... but I do understand that feeling.. LeBron is just not that likable a person for whatever reason and you're far from the only person that feels that way.. Great talent no doubt but just not somebody the NBA fan base has openly embraced... it's just the whole package on and off is ewww

Obviously there's never been a player that every fan of the NBA has liked but usually even if you don't like the guy because he's not on your team or he's on your rivals team there's still respect for the guy... I loathed Larry Bird, but damn he was good and when the Celtics beat the Lakers curse them but dang they are good we'll get you next time but with LeBron it's like yeah yeah yeah you're talented even says so on your back, so what, go kick rocks...lol

Not at 34 years old. 29 years old fine. Give the dude a massive contract if he was 29, but Lakers have to think about his age and mileage at this point.

I agree that all good things come to an end, but this guy certainly doesn't look like he slowing down. Assuming 2 things: A) doesn't impede our ability to resign the young guys. B) doesnt require we trade our young guys: I think a 3-year $90 mil contract, or 4-year $100 mil contract would be fine.

My argument, is that I think his presence would be GREAT for the young guys. I think he leaves after 3 years, and our young guys (who'd still be in mid-20's btw) would have tons of playoff experience, winning culture, great leadership to look back on. Wouldn't have to win a title even, for it to be totally worth it.

Just don't sell the youth off to get him. He'd have to straight up sign with us.

I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.
