So you would rather have Clarkson or Nweba running the offense? By all accounts except for in Dallas Rondo has been a great teammate and player. He just moves different and speaks his mind. Nothing wrong with that. Plus he's a great vet and played in big games. I still remember the Boston Miami series where he single handedly kept them in the series. He's not what he once was but he's a great vet behind Ball.

Clarkson could definitely run the offense on the second team... It's OK if the second team has a different look than the first team. You don't need 'Ball Lite' to run the second unit...
And Clarkson did fine running the offense before Russell...

No we need shooters, rondo is the worst fit on this team as constructed

Rondo was about to upset the Celtics in the playoffs before he got hurt

Let's not act like he can't be a productive player, when we last saw him he was a series changer in the playoffs vs the 1 seed
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Q) Is this so called Rondo being a locker room cancer Irrelevant OR are you guys still going by what he was like 6-10 years ago? Surely his matured and become a good/decent vet mentor type of player bye now?

It's a tough call, because I have the same concerns as everyone else, however, our passing significantly falls off when ball is out. No one passes like him on our team. Secondly, ball is not used to these minutes, and rigorous 82 games schedule. Although excellent last night, he was tired. 36 minutes. He's gotta be brought along slowly for adjustment purposes. Rondo may be a necessary unpopular piece at this point.
