2nd Two-Way Contract

Yeah, I say Matt Thomas. Guy can shoot the lights out. To be able to have that as an option on the big club would make a lot of sense.

At this point it would suck to not give Matt Thomas a contract let alone a two-way deal. Dude has been lights out and has one of the purest shooting forms I've seen.

I originally thought it was games but it is DAYS....

They count it as the 1st day he comes up until the 45th day lol, don't know what type of answer you were looking for....

are players under two-way contracts playoff-eligible? If not, if they get signed to a permanent spot after the deadline, will being a two-way harm their eligibility?

No, a two way player cannot play in a NBA playoff game, but can be on the inactive list to travel and practice with the team. Not sure if your own team can 'upgrade' your two-way contract to a normal contract so the player can play in the playoffs. I don't see why not since no other team is allowed to touch the player under the two way contract.

I'm for keeping a confident young and inexpensive shooter in Matt Thomas around. Will do wonders for Lonzo to give him some guys who can space the court for him

One guy that I want the Lakers to look hard at for the 2-way contract and invite to camp is Quinn Cook. He should be a backup somewhere. He has been solid all summer long and can stroke it from long distance.

37% 3 point shooter in D-league
6.7 assists per game
26 points per game
