My only question about the whole referee thing is this:

Why does it matter she's female? Why has this been brought up so much? How is telling someone to "Stay in yo lane" and "Not built for this," (coincidentally BBB catchphrases/trademarks) get classified as such? People and media need to stop with that whole angle. I didn't consider anything to be sexist that he said.

Now, is he setting the wrong example for kids by quitting because the game's not going his way? Hell yeah.

Go Lakers.

No you don't, keep it to what's relevant. We all have a lot to say but we can't get it all in in one post.

Yes, but the point is you also want people to read your posts.

We are all passionate, or we wouldn't be on a Lakers forum in the middle of the summer.

He didn't say all your posts,he said "nearly all of them", which is true.

Anyways, I think you have potential as a poster, you might just be new to anonymous forum-posting.

Also, I am glad we have a thread to talk about Lavar. Just what we needed.. /s

Sarcasm aside, It is kind of nice to have a special Lavar-dedicated thread we can purposefully avoid in the future..

So what happens next year in free agency with Lavar?

Do the Lakers put a muzzle on him?

I will have a chuckle when Lavar says Lakers don't need Lebron Lonzo can lead them to the championship with the roster he's got. Lol the turn up by Lakers fans.

And now Jordan actually responded to him which I thought was pretty funny.

But hey the guy is getting his name all through the media FOX ESPN Mike and Mike today Herm Edwards said some interesting points. Lavar is the other Crazy Uncle we have on the Lakers now. first it was only Crazy Uncle Stu now it's crazy uncle Lavar.

Can't wait to hear Stu on the broadcast talking about Lavar courtside. it was hilarious last season hearing stu just crack up laughing on air during games. he totally didn't care. with no tank this season should be fun.

The Lakers need to offer Lavar a plum job with the dignified title a fine man like him deserves. "Manager of Team Operations"

Fwiw as much of a chucklehead as Lavar is he's done a very good job with his three boys. He deserves a ton of credit for that.

Agree there. I personally don't give a rip about all the stuff on the side. He can make shoes or not....I so don't care. Talk smack about Curry, Lebron, Jordan.....I don't care.

His #1 job in life is 'Dad'.....and it seems like he'd done great. I personally think he's just having fun with all of this. I mean...why not? It sells, after all. He's not a Laker....and so this is all just a side-show IMO. I could care less about what he does.

Yeah it's like a trainer in Boxing with Lonzo and Lavar. Floyd Jr. and Floyd sr. he's that guy always cheering his son on. I like the freak show and I think it's great for the Lakers. it makes it interesting. just seeing what he does next. all the dances. he's hilarious.

He's like that one dad at all the games where his son actually made it to the NBA. there's a lot of dads who boast about who great their son is. well he got him there. I just want to see where he's sitting Courtside would be hilarious.

I think when Magic called Lavar Coach he ran with it!

LaMelo is a ridiculous shooter...

It will be interesting to see how he develops physically over the next couple of years.

And it starts already our unofficial Tampor agent. tamporing for Lebron.

Lavar saying only way he's going to win a championship is with my boy. He gotta play with my boy.

and I love it. so flagrant it's awesome.

two AAU dads. just get Lebron to the Lakers do your thing. SPEAK it into Existance.

and then do your Lavar Dance at the press conference. Big Baller. Big Baller.

Magic can't say it. But Lavar can.

Lamelo.

will be a better shooter than his brother. but he'll be no where near the point guard his brother is. probably a 6,5 point guard not the court vision. but might be a better scorer. definitely a shoot first point guard. Lamelo typical AAU point guard unlike his brother. will be top five talent. but his brother is hall of fame talent. Lamelo more like a Brandon Jennings. score first. Jeff Teague.
