Zo will be fine. He's a rookie and he's going to have to figure out a lot of things as do all rookies in this league.

Agree about 90%. We're looking good....but the Nets tend to make guys look good. We are definitely improving though.

I thought this was a good thing that we have such an "easy schedule" to start the season. This was gonna allow our guys to feel their way along as individuals, and as a team.

Of course that pendulum will swing back....and I'll be curious to see how we're looking in Jan.

Not just the nets. We faced the strongest schedule on the league and still flirting with .500 and a top 10 defense. That's good sign.

For sure. It's leading to fast breaks....which we seem to be pretty good at. I'm just glad we're not bottom of the barrel for once. It's nice, and it's leading to good things offensively. Let's all pray that the players notice a correlation here.

BTW....have we faced the strongest schedule in the league? It doesnt seem like it. No reason to doubt you...I just find that incredible. It's great, if thats the case. Makes it even more impressive.

It's because they put big SFs on him and it neutralized him a bit... DeMare Carol is a load and a good defender... Caris LeVert is too...

Right now, when teams put big, physical guys on Kuz... Especially guys that can stay in front of him... He has trouble.
He'll have to figure it out, because he's going to see a lot more of it as a starter than he did as a Bench guy.

Also, Kuzma is much better when they get him touches in transition than he is when they try to give him Ingram's iso touches... They need to adjust and stop trying to make him create... He can do it but he's only marginally successful, whereas he's really successful in transition.

Boy, I don't know about this. Kuzma has an ability to get to the hoop that is far superior to anything Ingram has at this point. He's taken guys from the top of the circle to the basket with some amazing spin and finish moves. I agree he's great in transition but I think he may be second on the team to Clarkson in his ability to get to the rim and finish in iso or the half court sets.

His second half lack of shots wasn't because he had a bigger guy on him. Not only did he not shoot, he just flat out didn't touch the ball much at all unless it was a rebound. He was out of the flow a lot and I think he got tired as the game wore on as well.

The team needs to figure this out. He's shooting very efficiently and needs to get more touches than a lot of guys are at the moment.

Yeah....he's regularly making 7-9 or something like that. He was 8-11 as a starter....so he did take a few more shots, but with that kind of percentage....you'd like to see him take 15-16 shots. Would like to see what his percentages are after a handful of 15-shot games.

Worth noting though: Ball was 3-15, but other than that....everyone shot at or better than 50%, so I'm not too upset with people shooting.

I think Ball's shooting line will look like that more than not unfortunately. I just hope he goes to the hoop aggressively and tries to finish to keep the defenses honest.

Kuzma is putting up some gaudy shooting efficiency numbers even with his low % from 3. He'll come down to earth at some point because the league will adjust as it always does. The only problem I have at this point is that he's been our most consistent offensive player and he's shooting very well..... why not see if he can be the primary option on offense for 5 to 10 sets a game? Let's see what we have here. If he can keep up the shooting % in that scenario it may change our offseason plans a little. How many 3/4's do we need? He's going to be real cheap (by value comparison) for 4 years. If he can also be a primary option then we have a ton of flexibility going forward.
