This season's salary is already on the books 17.3 mil as we passed the stretch deadline back in September.

The final two seasons, plus a 3 year extension would make it 5 years (and whatever we'd be able to negotiate down in the buyout) to stretch over 11 years.

That's 2 full max slots (if one of them wasn't LeBron) and we'd be able to keep Clarkson (renounce Randle though). Though if either Randle or Lopez agrees, we can get them both back on the room MLE to retain their Bird rights.

So really, it's a fantastic thing to do.
