I'm really impressed with Lonzo the rebounding is great and I'm really liking his defense. Kuzma has to learn to play through his teammates he has to make sure that the ball goes to all the players.

Simple as this and if people on here don't see it I don't get it. Brandon Ingram is a superstar. I think we need to play through him. when he puts the ball on the floor and dribbles and goes to the basket no one can stop him. when his jumper starts going consistent like it's looking like he'll be a top 15 player in the league. Ben Simmons is great but I'd rather have Ingram. his scoring is great.

Luke has to put a system of Ball Ingram and Kuzma that's how the offense needs to go. I think Luke needs to have Lonzo and Ingram in the backcourt together. I want to see how those guys play together. when they get to where I think they are looking like now. it's gonna be a special team with Lonzo and Ingram Lonzo is playing with more of an edge now which is good. and Ingram more and more is starting to want that role as the guy.

We had Shaq then it was Kobe's team. for a while I thought it was Russells team. and Now this is Ingram's team. Brandon Ingram is the next Lakers Superstar.

it's gonna suck not getting that draft pick this year but hopefully it's 15 and then get a free agent. Lopez it's great having a great NBA center. it's Cousins or Lopez so I might be looking at our center or it's Cousins. I like Bringing Randle back. he's developed into a great defender he plays great basketball. Look if Lebron isn't coming or any of the Magic Superstars then we gotta be real with ourselves as an organization and sign Lopez and resign Randle. this is our squad every game we gotta watch what is good is we are getting better and improving as a team.

Good post. I was in agreement with all of it, but then that last paragraph... lol

Lonzo's defense is under rated. He's playing like a vet on that end at times. His rebounding is fantastic. I just wish he pushed the pace more (like full speed) after he gets a board.

I've also thought BI is a star from day one. Having a hard time getting how some still seem to not see it. I'd also love to see BI next to LB, but more as a look we can throw out there at times. It'll be great to watch and would work great and win us games but might shorten BI's career by a year or two chasing "Ray Allens" around on defense, and could lead to twisted ankles and knees etc. He's not built like a tank, more like a mantis.

The offense absolutely should run through Lonzo, Ingram and Kuzma, I totally agree.

Lopez is worthless on defense. His pick and roll defense is embarrassing. He will never be the starting center on any championship team because of this serious deficiency.

Cousins may have been a head case but he's on a completely different level.

Yeah, hoping to see him get minutes soon. Must be defense related but I remember him being decent on defense so maybe it's simply that Lonzo needs minutes to learn. Hart's defense is rock solid. He's earned his minutes.

The Lakers are improving, but with all due respect as a Kings fan I don’t see how the Lakers are better on paper. Luke is actually doing a good job and the Lakers are outplaying expectations

And? I don’t get your point.

Lonzo’s defense is actually pretty good. Underrated part of his game.

Where do you see that? The Lakers hide him from every good guard pretty much every night. Kuz usually takes them. Another player who didn't wanted to be named said he couldn't guard anyone at all & his feet usually cross badly when he had to change direction defensively

Where did I see it? When he played at UCLA and during Summer league and now in the NBA. Its actually patently obvious. I think you need to watch the games a bit more closely rather than reading mysterious quotes from unnamed people.

Thanks Stan totally agree with you.

I think Lonzo needs to play next to a guy like Ingram so they can keep a defense honest. that was the whole DLO thing put him next to a guy who can score or make the defense pay attention to.

with Ingram he can do so much that you have to always have someone on him. and Lonzo with his ability to find guys in the perfect scoring spots on the court is perfect for Ingram.

Ingram if he puts his head down and becomes a relentless scorer he will be a beast for the Lakers the kobe mentality with Ingram would be insane he has the athletic ability once the skill is there which is being shown he's going to be great. his ability to put the ball on the floor and go to the basket and get to the free throw line hasn't been on this team since kobe. his big scoring frame he can do a lot for us.

When we get that warriors system down with Lonzo Kuzma and Ingram we are going to be great. Lonzo is going to have to embrace changing his jump shot. Curry did it. when Curry first came in the league his shot was more of a launch sling shot. and he perfected it more.

Lonzo has to get with Luke and do that. he's playing great now. I saw him wanting to compete against Fox didn't see that when those two played. and he's starting to play like he's the best player on the court that's great for our squad.

Lopez is a nice center we aren't using him right if you watched him on Brooklyn he was utilized better Luke has to look at what Kenny Atkinson did with him and bring that to the Lakers. you see it in some games like Brooklyn we need to make that more consistent.

Cousins would be great but I would be happy with Lopez as a consolation. The LeBron thing is puzzling. I really don't know what that guy is going to do. he's playing great. he's going to want to win. so if he comes we are great with a Lonzo Ingram Lebron Kuzma and Lopez lineup. if he doesn't and we don't get the big free agents we go Lonzo Ingram Kuzma Randle and Lopez. either way we are building something different that is good. These guys are going to be winning championships. you have to think what Lonzo and Kuzma and Ingram eventually become those guys together are going to be all star players because they are all gym rats. great unit. Lakers.

You're losing me on Lopez. And, "the Warriors" system needs Curry, Klay, Durant, Green, Iguodala, Livingston to be that system. Even Mr Potatoehead could coach them.
