With reports coming out LiAngelo was the only one who stole from all three stores yet he and his dad still throw the other two under the bus and the way they handle themselves in general even if he had the talent the kid and Lavar has raised enough reflags about himself and the family that they're gonna need talent by the truckload to even get a look from a pro team. GMs are not gonna bring upon their teams that kind of attention for role players

I am wondering when we will eventually hear those 2 other players' side of the story...

Gelo will get a summer league invite then if he plays good training camp invite if he shows he can shoot like I know he will be a end of the bench guy playing for la defenders lamelo will be an NBA draft pick and will be a starting point guard very good player

Lamelo is a completely different player from his brother he just shoots the ball scoring point guard scouts are going nuts for him. He's very athletic also when he gets to the league I can see him being the perfect pick and roll player.

the only chance gelo has is if he has some insane chemistry with lonzo that allows him to morph into a servicable player and make up for every other deficit

melo is good for his age, but it's way too early to tell. like lonzo the mechanics are awful, but he is different in that he has many more tools for scoring since that is his strength. he'll do runners with his off hand and what not. melo has to pick a skill to be elite at, ie shooting, and use that as his ticket into the nba. he's not an elite athlete and he has to really focus and be a student of the game to become a real floor general.

All 3 were in NY with lines out the block. Something like 2000 people waiting until night time...

Please NO, unless we want the franchise to turn into a TV reality show instead of a ball club.

Yes. Take Gelo and Aaron Holiday as undrafted picks, draft Kostas Antetokounmpo with the 2nd round pick, all in 2018.

Also sign Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Justin Holiday in FA.

Then all you have to do is wait for the summer of 2021, when both Jrue Holiday and Giannis are FA's, while the young'ins Melo Ball and Alexis Antetokunmpo are set to enter the league by that time.

Los Angeles Lakers roster for the 2021/2022 season

PG:Lonzo Ball/LaMelo Ball
SG:Jrue Holiday/Justin Holiday/Aaron Holiday
SF:Alexis Antetokunmpo/LiAngelo Ball/Thanasis Antetokunmpo
PF:Giannis Antetokunmpo
C: Kostas Antetokunmpo

Apparently they are close to a deal with a Lithuanian club.

Thankfully Lonzo has a good head on his shoulders despite Lavar. Lamelo look like he could have some skills but too early to tell. Liangelo...he needs to go to law school and be Lonzo/Lamelo's agent.

I recall Lavar mentioning something about Lamelo foregoing the draft and signing with the Lakers as a free agent. How could we swing that? Is it determined by age or years playing pro?

This is something Lavar is trying to make happen so I wanted to know as fans of the Lakers, if this is something you would support. I mean all three can play and obviously they will all improve however the drama that would happen is just nuts.

ALSO.... the revenue and attention that the lakers would get from them would be insane

With LiAngelo and LaMelo starting to earn money and getting endorcements i dont think they'll be able to play in the NCAA. Therefore i think there is a good chance that they will go undrafted - LiAngelo for sure, LaMelo, who knows. If they go undrafted, i'm sure the Lakers will try them out.

Can't Lakers just sign Lamelo and Liangelo to play with the the lakers d-league team the sparks? Be actually good publicity and increase ticket sales for the d-league any way.

I really hate the fact that sometimes I wouldn't mind if we trade our number 2 overall pick just to see how mad his dad will get.

I also hate the fact that my mindset has gone from "poor Lonzo....it's not his fault that his dad is a big mouth" to "If i was Lonzo and my dad was saying all this crap I would definitely tell him to shut up"

Edit- My point is this. Maybe it's not logical from my end, but all the side bs from Lavar is far more tolerable when Lonzo is the next big thing, and far less tolerable when he's a struggling rookie.

Well at the end of the day we got the good Ball in terms of talent and personality. Maybe, his little brothers will enjoy life in Lithuania and never come back. One can only hope.

Melo even drives Lonzo nuts. That's how younger brothers are though...he is a child star thanks to Zo so the attention he gets is dangerous to his mental. However, Lavar lives in reality and he will help guide Melo through this journey. Melo is a hot shot/hot head... like future Swaggy P here. Gelo... Lavar already knows he is the model of the family. His job will be to wear BBB clothes in public and do runways... I wouldn't be surprised.

Entertainment. That's all this family is. If you take it more personal than that, then find a different hobby. :dontknow:

The other two UCLA kids have been suspended for the whole year.

LaVar was smart to move his kid out of UCLA and not waste a year.
