Jesus man....doesn't Magic even get a chance?? Sounds like you've been wanting to say this since day one, and you couldn't take it anymore. Firstly, there have been many people not happy with the Magic hiring. I get it.....that's fine.

But how can anyone call him out?? HE JUST F*** STARTED!! Honestly.....is this really a question? Jim had like 4 years. And he took over a team that was a playoff team....with 3 or 4 assets on it. I don't even want to go down the list of his blunders.....but it culminated in 3 of the worst years in Lakers franchise....like back to back to back. And then he dumps half our salary on 2 complete duds..and a nice(ish) bench player.....essentially crippling the team for 4 more years.

And your saying we should call out Magic because????...........our record? D'angelo is gonna win MVP? I honestly have zero idea what your worked up about....except that it's obvious you've been waiting to do this for some time.

Go pop a beer, kick your feet up, and take a deep breath man. Magic's not getting fired 4-5 months into this. No matter what you think. He inherited a dumpster-fire, with the owner essentially BEGGING him to help fix this before her moron brother broke it worse. It's gonna take a year or two to get this team competing and looking like a nice destination. You also don't just sign guys to sign guy. You need the right guys. I know Magic didn't say Klay.....because THAT WOULD BE TAMPERING!!!! So sounds like some fan said it. Your holding that over Magic two? I smell an agenda....or at least a mind made up.

You really made your mind up already, before the guy even gets to step up to the plate? That's your problem, not his.

I can only imagine the fanatics Russell would have created if he was actually a great player when he dealt him.

@Dloading99

I think the issue here is how you’re interpreting Magic’s recent comments. IMO he was not backtracking whatsoever. He still referenced plan A as going for 2 max guys. He also says “probably” knowing there is some salary shifting to be done to make it possible. Plan B is to add a max player to IMPROVE our current team rather than spending cap because it’s available (Jim/Mitch). That to me as a laker fan is a good sign that he is willing to give this young group a chance. One of the fears was that he was hell bent on 2 max guys and willing to blow the team up to compete rather than looking towards the future.

Watching porzingis kick our ass last game, Jimmy once again, is on the hook for that blunder. Jimmy's reign, however long or short it was, totally screwed our cap space. Roster. Drafts. Just most everything he did was a huge mistake. And then trying to fight off Jeanie and drive a hostile take over of the Lakers? Are you kidding me? We would be living under a reign of terror with Jimmy running things. So at this point, I'll take Magic and Jeanie.
