That missed loose ball foul against Lonzo Ball that lead to a Knicks offensive rebound and bucket was absolutely huge. Total garbage.

I also thought there were a lot of other questionable calls in the fourth.

Ingram was awful. His turnovers in OT were brutal. Randle in the OT session struggled defensively, which hasn't happened all year. And KCP with his 14 attempted threes. Goodness, I had to listen to the game today. So I saw the score and heard the game, but you don't get a true sense of it until you see it live. I watched the game when I got home, and AT LEAST 5 or 6 of those attempts were just completely awful. There's so many times where he's coming off a down screen and even if the defender is in good trail technique, he still fires up a shot completely off balance. Good lord. How he doesn't just drive to the basket and drive and kick in that scenario is horrific and just awful basketball IQ. In those scenarios, someone is going to have to come over to help and there's going to be at least someone wide open for a better three.

The offensive foul on Randle when it should have been an and 1 and then the no loose ball foul on Beasley when he went under Randle going for the lose ball are two calls that IMO were BS.

Yep, that was trash. I also thought the ball went off that Knick when Randle was going after the loose ball.

If we had a closer or if we had been luckier, we could have been 15-10 instead of 10-15. We've lost too many games at crunch time, but at least we ain't getting blown out like the past 4 seasons. Progress is there.

Ingram was awful. Too many turnover that likely cost the lakers the game. KCP too shot happy at times. I thin Magic Johnson being there may of added a little pressure?

What Ingram needs to do is start using his mid range game to open up that drive a bit more. Other teams see Ingram’s success so they are going to look to stop that drive. That’s where Ingram’s all around game needs to kick in.

The quicker Ingram gains the same level of confidence in his outside shooting as he does driving to the cup is what will elevate him from a rising star to all star. He still needs to attack the basket. At the same time make the proper reads.

If Ingram's last name was Randle I doubt Luke would have left him in there to end the game. I would have liked them to explore if they could have brought in JC for him and get away with it. He seems to really be on Luke's good side though.

Very simple in regards to the other post shout outs to Ds17 and Myersia I appreciate your input.

Great game from Ball. the post was about Magic keeping our young core. you talk about it taking four years to rebuild but you trade young assets. look at Oledipo look at Gordon you gotta let guys develop.

Russell is about one of our young players being traded if it was Devin Booker it would be the same thing. We have and I'll continue to say we have the makings of an OKC team. Lonzo looking like the do it all across the board stats player like Westbrook Russell being the Harden and Ingram being the Durant.

Trading Assets to correct other front office mistakes are reckless.

Don't argue about players who are hurt they are going to come back eventually and play how they were playing. I pointed to Sacramento for specific reasons. They had on one squad Isiah Thomas Tyreke Evans Wesley Mathews Hassan Whiteside and Demarcus Cousins. and if you watch Basketball Tyreke Evans might be having the best season of his career with Memphis. Isiah Thomas was an MVP candidate last season. and Demarcus Cousins has developed into the best big man center in the NBA.

We have something very similar. Julius Randle is finally starting to come into his own. We took him ahead of Zach Lavine. I'd like us to keep these young players and build something.

Kobe Bryant Laker Hall of famer Kobe Bryant. said you can't say they're young. it's gotta be now. Lonzo Now Julius Now. So obviously he sees something to say Guys gotta do it now. These guys have to be the core of the team that's winning.

So the next season approach needs to be about this season. we always say some free agent is coming.

What I saw in this New York Knicks game was a team that was competing and wanted it. at some point the Tide has to turn. and it looks like this unit has done that. I don't want anymore trades. I remember Jerry West saying when he was the GM you have to let this team Gell. we can't just trade guys we have to let this team turn into a winning team. and that was when Lakers fans wanted to trade guys like Robert Horry and Derek Fisher. that was after San Antonio Swept us in the playoffs.

Lonzo showed athletics great court vision. and the jump shot looked like it was free. at least he balled on the big stage. if there ever was a game that you can take as a moral victory this was it.

Porzingis is a superstar Jim Buss wanted him and flew to watch his workout. other Laker brass convinced him that the point guard was the way to go.

Great seeing Guys compete and great to see Lonzo getting props form folks in the garden. I liked seeing Lonzo pick Ingram up when he wasn't having the best game.

Jordan Clarkson is looking like a nice player. if Deng is going to be moved and that Deng Contract is to be moved Jordan Clarkson is the most attractive guy that will be packaged with that contract. cause Clarkson in this NBA has a very friendly contract at what he does. it's gonna suck but if Deng gets Moved Clarkson is the guy that makes sense. Randle being a free agent makes no sense.

But the unit of Ball Clarkson Ingram Randle Kuzma looks good and gives the Lakers something to Cheer about.
