The dear basketball video made my eyes watery. A legend, and most importantly, an immortal. Congrats, Kobe Bean Bryant

Got to go to game. It was a blast. Thought the crowd was kinda subdued during it all....but whatever. Kind of a shame we lost. Had our chances.

Interesting note: Standing back there in the crowd of legends was good ol' Mitch. Not sure who reached out to who...but super classy on both sides. With the crazy attempted take-over, and all that....you gotta know things musta been bitter there at the end. Mitch gave the better part of his life to this organization. Prob thousands of late, late nights...phone calls at 4am, flights to god knows where to look at a player...etc etc. You'd think 8 months would be a little short to let it go.

Glad so see it though. Hopefully this starts the repair. Mitch did too much to be just tossed aside. Believe me.....there's prob no more outspoken critic of he and Jim at the end. But that doesn't negate 25-30 years of player GM that were good/great.

Anyways...I was really happy to see that.

Odd note: No Phil.....no VIDEO of Phil. No video congrats.....no story. Was that Kobe/Phil? Jeanie/Phil?

Didn't know Mitch was there but that is a great gesture to have him around.

My favorite part was hearing what all the players and coaches had to say about Kobe during the commercial breaks.
