The NFL wouldn't have to in most cases.... the team would have before they got a chance to. That's what so weird here. By starting this guy they are basically saying that violating a situation that started with a DUI, Well..... not a DUI because he had big bucks he was able to "plead to a lesser charge" and enter probation predicated on showing up for mandatory drug/alcohol screenings, is OK. He missed one or more of the screenings and now he's in jail and it's still not a problem at all. He can't go on the road, which effects the team but that's OK too.
Think of the public money spent on this for a minute.... The Michigan jurisdiction has been working with Seal Beach Police Department to "allow" KCP to serve his jail time. This place is a "Hilton" compared to a Michigan Jail.
Real question.... how many people do you know that could be caught driving drunk(significantly drunk from rumors however the case has been sealed) and get to go to a new employer for 17M and then get the States of Michigan and California along with the Police Department of Seal Beach to "help" them? Top it off by having the new employer support the situation. Makes you question reality sometimes.....
