I think the icing on the cake was Kyrie going to Boston. It was a done deal as soon as that happened (in my mind). It's about to be back on...The Rivalry.

I thought magic coming out and saying that they're ok with keeping cap space for 2019 was a sign that he's not coming.

How anyone would know now is beyond me. If Cleveland wins the chip then my guess is that he stays. If they don't make to the finals I think he's gone. Now where he goes is the $100M dollar question. If we don't fade to a bottom 5 team in the second half I think we have a shot at him coming here.

Kind of strange that a player who is serving a jail sentence is allowed to play during its duration. The NFL probably would suspend that player for the entire year.

The NFL wouldn't have to in most cases.... the team would have before they got a chance to. That's what so weird here. By starting this guy they are basically saying that violating a situation that started with a DUI, Well..... not a DUI because he had big bucks he was able to "plead to a lesser charge" and enter probation predicated on showing up for mandatory drug/alcohol screenings, is OK. He missed one or more of the screenings and now he's in jail and it's still not a problem at all. He can't go on the road, which effects the team but that's OK too.

Think of the public money spent on this for a minute.... The Michigan jurisdiction has been working with Seal Beach Police Department to "allow" KCP to serve his jail time. This place is a "Hilton" compared to a Michigan Jail.

Real question.... how many people do you know that could be caught driving drunk(significantly drunk from rumors however the case has been sealed) and get to go to a new employer for 17M and then get the States of Michigan and California along with the Police Department of Seal Beach to "help" them? Top it off by having the new employer support the situation. Makes you question reality sometimes.....
