Lucky or not, we need every ounce of luck we can get our hands on. We are 2 games out of 10th spot. All we need is just to be in position to fight for 9th etc. That gives our guys something to shoot for in the 2nd half.

Didn't want clarkson huh, didn't want him to go to the pacers in a package for George.

Take it, take that beating.

Clarkson is starting to use his patience to create for others in the half court. He had the same patience early in the season, but it almost always ended with him shouldering off the defender before shooting a floater. That's not a terrible shot - in fact, that development is one of the tell tale signs that a young player is now comfortable attacking out of the p/r. However, him being able to create for others is going to be so important for a team that has essentially relied on mismatches on Randle and Brolo 3s to sustain the half court offense.

I do want to highlight one play where Clarkson had the ball coming across half court. The dude was red hot and probably could've just taken it himself (Cory Joseph wasn't back yet and I think Bogdonavic was on him). Instead, he makes a quick pass, at half court, to Randle, who promptly blows by Al Jefferson's ancient ass before getting fouled. That's the type of play that requires a. high IQ and b. team mindset. Not sure if Lance Stephenson would've done the same had he had the chance to do so.

it’s games like these that make you rethink wanting to trade guys like jc/randle. the same guys we were labeling as steal of the draft or double double machine, etc. for sentimental reasons, it’s bittersweet really.

2 of 14.

I've watched plenty of Lakers games this year and thought it was bad, but how can a group of NBA guys go 2-14?

Glad for Jordan Clarkson getting that game to ball. he's been such a professional. and to do it against the pacers oh what you could've had.

Clarkson can get buckets and can score. can't have enough of those guys. so one thing Jordan knows he's gonna play and he's gonna be a productive NBA player good. for him. hopefully he gets more opportunity on this team.

Clarkson's post game interview showed his class. Asked if he'll deliver on Sunday if necessary if any from the 3 won't be available, said yes, paused, still said they need everybody back.

What a pro.

Great team win carried by Jordan Clarkson, our best scorer, the guy everyone wants to trade for salary dump. I want him on the Lakers for the next 6 years.

I think we'll get there, once teams who have their pick pull down the curtains to tank.

Clarkson has the ability to score in a more free form offense. That much is for sure. Last night he facilitated and played some good defense down the stretch.

His situation with this team in the last 2 years has been not that good for him IMHO. I actually think he's more valuable to a very good team in a defined roll rather than on a team where the coach has actually verbalized that he is counting passes and dishes out minutes based on that(or what ever else he feels at the time). Just not his style.

This was a hell of a win considering we shot like, a negative percentage from the charity stripe. Ordinarily you'd expect to lose pretty handily like that
