Welp, another forward. If Dekker can still be in the NBA, so can this guy. Again, not a shooter, but some muscle and hustle guy. Good head on his shoulders as well.
He shot 33% from 3 in college on 300+ attempts. So he can knock down a jumper, but..
-Sigh- I just don't feel like this front office is that smart. I really don't. Hopefully I'm proven wrong over time. There's so many more pressing needs on this team.
It's more like our FO don't give a F!!!!!
Well hold on a second...What exactly do you expect out of the mid-season trade window? The Lakers have made it abundantly clear that they are saving their cap-space. Players with any sort of "name - recognition" either A) have 2-3 years left on their contract, and are being traded for picks, or whatever. or B) are trying to get to a playoff team.
We're just looking for meat to throw on the floor while guys are hurt. On the off-off-off chance that there's some semi-decent back up PG (didn't ramon sessions get waived?) or SG or whatever you want out there, you have to ask yourself what exactly a guy like Ramon Sessions does for us? 3 more wins? I mean...ok. You also have to ask yourself if they talked to Sessions, and he told them he's not interested in riding the pine for a 25 win team. He's rather be available if a team like the Warriors, or Rockets, or whatever come calling.
I think once our playoff hopes became dashed...you saw Bogut get waived, and I think that the Lakers are no longer worried about wins/losses this season. Filling backup needs is not the priority right now.
