6 wins in last 8 games...not bad. Luke also seems to start realizing what lineups work and what doesn't.

He pulled Ennis 2 minutes into the 3rd because the team came out flat.

The problem with Ennis is he doesn't push the basketball and that's the exact opposite of what Luke wants.

If we're better pushing the ball and pushing pace then you have to play a guard that can do that. And Alex was doing that and also he doesn't pound the hell out the ball.

Was glad when Ennis sat the rest of the game. We were a much better team in terms of pace and tempo with AC and JC on the rock.

This team is a lot better than its record, and it will become better next year. We just need to keep this core, that will get better as they still very young, and add one superstar, be it PG13 or Boogie Cousins. With that, I'd bet this team will be in the top 5 of the west next year.

Top 5 with this core?

Lol there isn't any way we're cracking top 5 with just George or Cousins and this core (I mean, we're currently sub .400)

The core, while nice, is young, inconsistent, and costs are about to balloon upwards, limiting our ability to improve the roster

I think JC must be peed or something knowing that he could be on the chopping block, so he wants to play hard and sacure his spot here in LA ... I've always liked JC and always wanted to keep him, just because he loves to play for LA and wants to stay :) never bitches or complains, those players are hard to come by and should be keepers

Now lets get that 8th seed shall we.

At the very least 10th
My Go Team
Magic, Jordan, Pippen, Duncan, Shaq

My Counter
Stockton, Kobe, Bird, Rodman, Dirk

Today's Team

So? Does this record prevent this team to get better next year?
Jeez, you don't watch the Lakers games? Haven't you seen the evolution of the Warriors?

The Warriors ended 2011-12 with a 23-53 record. They already had Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson back then.
Next season, they finished 47-35, twice as many wins, and gave hell to the Spurs on the west semifinals. Curry and Thompson improved a lot, and they got rid of Monta Ellis, and got Harrison Barnes and a very Green Draymond.

If the Lakers (or any team basically, short of a well stablished team already that is a title contender, like the Rockers or Spurs) wants to get drastically better, it has to come from within. That is what the Warriors did.

This isn't the 1990s, so you can't just expect a top tier free agent like Shaq was at the moment to come to the Lakers. And still, they needed Kobe and Fisher to win those titles.

Clarkson playing like a Dude who is mad he's on the trading block. but if he keeps playing like this maybe we can get Luol Deng in some trade talk lol. But I like him with our squad. I like Randle been saying Randle developing into the 20 and 15 player. there are going to be games when randle has 6 and then there are going to be games like this where he beast. we just have to take his great games and watch him get better.

This is part of a player developing. that's why I don't like Shipping Randle out now cause I feel like we've developed him and he's going to develop into a great power forward and some team like Dallas is going to get the great player we saw at Kentucky.

Think of this YAll. Do we really just want to ship these guys out to bring in guys who aren't going to be commited to playing here if we don't win. and just ready to take off and bounce. I like Randle and getting either George or Cousins.

The odd thing about Lebron is he looks like he needs a lot of help to win championships now. he doesn't look like the guy who can just win a championship by himself anymore. and he looks like a different player.

I've see it in all players Lebron Kobe TMAC Vince Rudy Gay. when a guy is not the same athletic player they are still athletic but different LeBron to me looks like 24 Kobe now so you are going to get two more great years and then it's all world tour which is worth a lot of money but in terms of championships what does that get you.

I'm with Valrond1. If we get PG/Boogie, I think Top 5 in the West is a possibility.

Cleveland is a mess. Im saying LeBron is on the move. Where to? The crystal 8ball is still murky.
