Demarcus Cousins is misunderstood. just like Dennis Rodman was. Dennis Rodman was a crazy party guy off of the court. but one of the most defensive smart basketball minds in the NBA. I saw a Rodman completely take Shaq out of a game when he played on Orlando against Chicago.

Boogie is very passionate far from Lazy. he's a leader in practice. now he's had some stuff with coaches but a lot of players have. he's matured a lot. and hope he can get back from this injury. cause he's actually one of the good guys in the NBA. and if you look at anything Coach Cal says about Cousins he says great things about Boogie.

Don't be obnoxious about it and turn it around. it was a racist comment because it had no proof it was all speculation. it's the same thing as saying Black Quarterbacks aren't smart enough. it's a stupid Ignorant stereotype. and being in sports when you hear that it's offensive. I've seen Black Players get that stigma just off of a bull scouting report. usually it's the scout being Lazy not wanting to actually see what the player is about.


it wasn't about all black athletes not being Lazy. Michael Olawakandi was lazy had ability and got paid and didn't compete himself to that All star player. Ryan Leaf was lazy had the whole team got paid and decided he didn't want to become a pro bowl player. Pablo Sandoval was lazy got paid and decided he didn't want to be an all star player. there are all kinds of players who've shown to be lazy.

But when Talking about Demarcus Cousins and a multiple All star player Team USA gold medalist that's not a lazy player. a player who was a all star starter this year. you don't get on a team with Greg Popovich and Coach K coaching and be a Lazy player. you don't play for Coach Cal and be a Lazy player. There's no NBA proof that Cousins is lazy.


To just basically say Oh Cousins is Lazy is a Lazy Statement in itself and racist because you are looking at someone and assuming just based on a perception. that he's lazy it's prejudice and racist. especially the fact that's a stereotype that has been associated with Black athletes and is really offensive. might not be to you but it is to me.

Magic Johnson Kobe Bryant Lebron James Stephen Curry would tell you the same thing. They always call Cam Newton lazy. So call a guy Cocky call a guy a Knucklehead call a guy Loud call a guy unprofessional but not lazy. those things have all been shown with the player. has he done things like other players no. but he's not lazy. call the guy nuts. but he's not Lazy he is and has always been one of the top rebounders in the league and rebounding in the NBA is not a Lazy thing. that's about banging in there getting boards with the big fellas.

Calling Cousins lazy relative to the field of NBA players (of which the majority are also African American) is not racist, and calling it racist is garbage and I believe both victims of actual racists acts and treatment (poisoning the waters and all) and opponents of lazy, nonsensical race-card-pulling would agree.
