It's unfortunate what's happening to print media, and in this case, the big news organizations. They used to have several guys out in the beat, verifying stuff. Check and double check. Nowadays, anyone with a Twitter account can make sh** up. And no fact checking, but the populace take it for legit news. Hence, the blossoming of what everyone knows now as....Fake News.
