Don't be so sure. The Lakers are firing north while the other teams are capped. GS cannot stay attentive and dominant forever.

The years of not bringing in top first rounders, coupler with complacency and salary adds up. Elite personalities want changes and scenery changes. Injuries happen.

Things change.

Ball
Butler
Ingram
George
Kuz

I don’t know how the pieces fit but that team can beat the warriors

 Inb4 the GB deems the punishment not enough, and demand that each fan in attendance has to make a vow to never root for Paul George again.

The GB is full of fat kids who handed out Gatorade to their local high school junior varsity team and now recite advanced stats that they can't replicate themselves while acting like they actually know the game of basketball.

Very tempted to troll the GB by opening a thread titled “NBA fines Lakers 2019 pick due to fans tampering with PG” then posting this video and let them figure it out

PG 13 can hit the big shot in crunch time.

I watch PG13 play us.

He is getting to the age where he is more of a Playoff Player like Big Shot Bob
as he doesn't seem as motivated until the games count.

But regardless I don't see him as a great player

But the good I see is he is determined on Defense and that can Rub Off and though he may play
the same spot as some of the young Core he can teach them how to step it up and Play D

PG is tough and holds players some of it looks like dirty but he makes it tough

also on P.G.

We're 23-31. A team led by him just got blown out by 26 and Donovan really isn't that good of a coach. OKC is a good team but lets be honest. Between the Warriors and Rockets as well as the Spurs when they're fully healthy, they're not seeing the nba finals.

Put him on the lakers now and we'd be a playoff team, we wouldn't be amazing but i could see us at around 30-24 right now.

Meh, don't see it. None of their young guys have elite potential sans Ingram, and even though I'm still real high on him, it's looking like it may never happen for him. Kuzma will be good but elite? Maybe. Outside of those two, they didn't really nail the last few drafts like they should have. The fact that they don't have their pick this year really hurts them. They're also a clown shoes franchise now & a complete PR nightmare. Not an attractive quality whatsoever.

Parity is on the horizon & the Lakers are just another team, and it'll become more & more evident each year. The NBA is headed in the right direction & the Lakers will need to buckle down & develop guys like every other team does. They'll probably throw a bunch of money at Paul George this off-season (personally I don't think he's dumb enough to go there), and it'll get them absolutely nowhere. George is no needle mover.

Don't Care about the Paul George stuff. if he signs he signs. if he doesn't we have Ingram and Kuzma. dude is such a Diva. and like really milking this moment. L.A. fans we don't have to cheer Paul. We are the Lakers we are L.A. not Orlando. hilarious. though dude knows he heard the cheers. man I didn't know he was a diva like this in Indiana. This whole Lebron thing really has turned players into big actors.

and the way Lebron was acting with Kyrie and Isiah that whole Clicquey thing like Mean girls the plastics. it's hilarious. can players stop acting like this? I don't think we need this in our locker room. he's a great player. but he's gotta be more supportive of his players. no more who's the cool group of the team. be more like Curry. everybody is one team. it's just that you hear none of that stuff coming out of the Golden State Locker room.

I don't see a team of Lonzo Ball and Lebron James winning a championship. if he comes it's about other stuff. that's why the Houston makes more sense. We have guys aren't going to win a championship yet. I'm all good with signing Isiah maybe another free agent Cousins see what happens with the other guys. I just don't see guys like Klay and Kawai leaving their teams. they just don't seem like those kind of players to me.

I'll take George at this point. Mostly because I like is fit with Ingram and Ball. Having said that he is definitely a bit overrated. OKC is projected to have a similar record this year as last year while the Pacers are a better team with Oladipo instead. Credit goes to Oladipo for raising his game, but still.

I'll take Paul for the defense if that's "the best we can get". He's clutch, fiercely competitive, a flat out star. Not my favorite nor first choice but he's obviously a total stud. Will never be the best player on a championship team.

I first would offer Durant $36M per year for five years, see if he can say no. He's the current best two way player on the planet. When he says no to that, I'd start looking in LBJ's direction.

Yes. What a nightmare to guard. Especially considering that we have two of the best back court rebounders in Hart and Lonzo. Try stopping Randle, Ingram/Kuzma, Durant on the break fed by Lonzo and Hart. Don't need no stinking second star. We have four budding ones of our own.

Durant is currently the best player in the world.

He's a free agent this summer, right? We have cap space, right?

Magic, time to plan you summer pitch to Durant.
