Yup great win. Great road trip. I think the Lakers took a step forward this trip. There will be a low again, as is the case with young teams....but we reached a new level, and soon this will be the norm, and a next step will be taken.

No longer are we fodder for the Portlands, Washingtons, Denvers in the league. They are playing their equal now. Much work to be done, and there will be bumps, but this is the first time (in my opinion at least) that you can really see that this team is moving up, and has a really high ceiling. As you put it....it's really exciting. Fun point to be at, as a fan of a team.

Don't expect the GB to talk about the Lakers, in fact there's not even one thread on them. And the reason being for this is real simple, for the last 5 years or so we we're putrid...let's just be real about it and that's when that board took shots because it was the only available time ever for them to pounce on the team.

The other reason to this is because now that the team is actually competing, beating teams at full strength in some cases and playing teams tough even in losses....leaves them no room to get their jollies off so to speak. Bottomline basically there is no reason to really talk that bad about us because they know for one a free agent is about to make way here soon, they know it would basically make them look dumb as hell if they tried to even say we're in the same state we were in 5 years ago. They know it's way different now.
