BI, King kuz and Hart - all 3 contribute if we had them playing, it would be another story.

I hope next year that we have full team playing agianst the good teams :)

GS had Klay, Draymond, David West, and Curry out. We prob shoulda won this. We didn't play very well

Do think guys are a little hard on Lonzo tonight.

3-11 shooting is pretty crap, no doubt. But 11-assists, and 5 boards counts for something.
KCP was 4-13 with 1-assist and 4-rebounds. I'll give that KCP did an admirable job trying to slow Durant down.

Lonzo needs to work on his shot this offseason. And Magic needs to tell him that sub .500 FT shooting is just unacceptable from a PG, and any PG with a sense of pride wouldn't let that happen again.

Long career ahead of Lonzo. Work on that shooting. When defenders have to respect your shot, it makes it so much easier for you. Just ask that 5'9" teammate of yours what it does for him.

Can the Lakers find some different two way players? I've seen enough of Caruso.

Ennis looked decent and motivated to play well in Denver (attended the game at the Pepsi Center with my cousin who is a huge fan of the team), double digit scoring tonight as well, I only watched highlights of the game today but Caruso needs to be scoring a bit more.

Need to keep Caruso - give him time :) wanna see more dunks by him:)

Ennis has a good game every 10 games or so, just because he has one here and there, doesn't mean he should be signed:) much better players to be had - same can be said for Caruso, but he needs time :) his getting better, when given minutes

And? They still had KD didn’t they?

Kuzma, and Ingram are both much more valuable to the Lakers than those guys are for the Warriors because even without them, they still have Kevin freaking Durant.

If Kerr wanted a fair fight then he should’ve rested KD.

And? Are you serious? That's like 3 top-15 players in the league they are missing! I'm not ripping us for losing, but the poster was pointing out A) he hadn't seen the game, and B) noted we were missing a couple guys. <----I was just letting him know that they were missing 3 of their starters, and their best players.....hence the level of disappointment he was reading on the board.

And to hell with sitting Durant. I'm not here for a fair fight. I wanna get better, and beat them at full strength. Woulda thought we coulda put it to them tonight with that much firepower missing. But we didn't. Is what it is....we move on.

You may be right. We are a younger team....but it is around game 65. Back-to-backs are harder nearing the end. GS is a good defensive team. I think a little credit aughta be thrown their way as well.

Point is that they still had Durant. A crappy team with just Durant alone would be good enough to make the playoffs most likely. Put Durant on like the Suns and I’d bet good money they make playoffs.

It’s like, if you took Harden and Steph off the All Star team for the West, that is a STILL a stacked roster that has a chance to win any game.

Warriors are the same way. And Klay is not a top 15 player man smh.

Did you really shake your head?? God I hope not.

Truth his, I was being lazy for typing purposes in your favor. Steph ain't top 15....he's top 5. Draymond is prob top 10....it's close. Klay may not be top 15....but if not he's like #18-22 or something. Thanks for making me spell it out. Notice you didn't take issue with throwing steph as a "top 15".....only the one guy of the 3 I slightly raised for simplicity.

Only serves to make your argument weaker this way. You can call Klay whatever you want.....#50. Ain't no top-50 players missing from our squad tonight. Certainly not a top 5 player (I'll spell it out again for ya....the top 5 player is Steph) and a top 10 player missing (that would be Draymond, in case you needed a rehash).

Anyhow.....think we're all cleared up now. No offense, but I answered the guy's comment. He certainly seemed to understand it, and was fine with it. I kinda don't care if you still take issue. You got the "Durant card".....enjoy it.

I wasnt trying to play semantics and yes Klay, Curry and Draymond are all excellent players.

That said, which trio is more important to their team, Klay, Curry and Green or Hart, Ingram and Kuzma?

Without the Warriors trio, they still have Kevin Durant a top 3 player in the league.

Without the Lakers trio, LAL has...?

That was my point, not discrediting the guys the Warriors were missing.

its simple, if you know you can't shoot, just don't. Keep working on it in practice and scrimmage until you are sure you should be taking more than maybe 6-8 shots per, then when you start draining it at a 40% rate (not even that high, just a 40% F.G rate) then go for it.

Lonzo is a hinderence when it comes to scoring most of the time which is a shame cause everywhere else he is great.

Like Ty said, he just needs to drive to the hoop a bit, do what Kobe did. Get some short range bunnies to start the game seeing it go through the net.

Caruso had great hustle stats, 3 steals a a block, playing out of position as a small forward, because we were small in the backcourt with IT and Ennis and Lonzo.

But he was frozen out of the offense. He didn’t handle the ball at all (playing out of position), and was reduced to a 3-and-D wing, except the ball never swung side to side. He did do a good job of moving without the ball, cutting baseline for his 2/2 field goals.

Just a tough position for him to be in - he’s always been best with the ball in his hands in the backcourt. He should really be the backup point guard, leading a bench mob. He killed it in summer league and G-league when given the responsibility and opportunity.

I actually think our team would have done better on nights like this when lonzo’s shot isn’t falling, for Caruso to play point guard and Lonzo to play low usage, off the ball guard: catch and shoot, move the ball, play D.

Caruso can hit off the dribble threes when defenses go under the screen, can drive and finish, etc. Complete point guard.
