Would love to see him dedicate himself to defense this offseason. If he becomes a good defender, I think your looking at a top 20 player in about 3-4 years.

I'm glad that they won. I'm rooting for them but I've not watched a game in two weeks. With baseball here there isn't much keeping my attention to Lakers ball. I'm disappointed in the names getting trotted out there. Boring stuff man.

I'm not sure how injured Ball and Ingram is but if the point is to give people a lasting impression and excitement for the upcoming future the Lakers are failing. I'm not sure what the executives are doing but they are failing at capitalizing on the hype that they started. It's like a promoter that pushes an event but gets preoccupied and doesn't get enough booze.

Ingram and Ball are both hurt. It's not great, but it is what it is. Are they being 'extra extra careful'? Possibly. There's not alot to gain, and not alot to lose here at the end. A couple extra wins woulda been nice, and pleased the fans...but little else. The stars in this league can see the team, and know what they're getting into.

Strange season, we swept the Spurs for the first time in 20 years.

The more wins the better but I think this season has already been a success.

Lakers would be smart to re-sign this man to a 2 or 3 year deal for cheap. He’s an effective stretch 4 and a great locker room guy and leader. Won’t ever complain about minutes or role. Perfect for the young kids on the team.

Season has been over since the Lakers got eliminated. Lakers' brass said time to shut them for next season. So yes just errring on caution.

His footwork is like one of the most refined and advanced parts of his game.

So last night I got home in the middle of the game. I turn on the tv and the cable box was having some issues. I tried everything and nothing worked. So I unplugged the box waited ten seconds and plugged it back on. Yay it worked! So I’m watching the recorded game from the start and low and behold we are tied 108 -108 with 4. Something left and Hart is getting ready to inbound and my tv cuts off and I’m like wtf? Then the tv returns to the original channel it was on when I switched to the game. Then it hit me I UNPLUGGED THE CABLE BOX WHILE RECORDING THE GAME!!!! so then I go to the Internet to read that nobody saw Hart miss the lay up anyway.

Good player though

Because he can't make them.

surely the percentage of him making an open midranger is higher than him doing 50 olajuwon moves?

I'm still not used to all the awkward, off-balance shots he takes. And it would be nice if he ever did develop a decent jumper, if only as a complementary tool. But he's at 73 percent around the rim, which is elite. In contrast, he's way below average in every range beyond that -- 3 to 10 feet, 10 to 16 feet, 16 feet to 3-point line, 3-point range. So yeah, it's a no-brainer as to what kind of shots you want him taking at this stage of his career.

True it's a damn shame though if he had an alright jumper the kid would elevate the rest of his game aswell.
