I think you are hard on the Lakers, they are the only lotto team showing Promise at this point. Your team doesn't quit and has a lot of good talented youth.

Yes, I know the clippers and nuggets will probably be in the lotto, but they are still playing for something.

Yeah I consider this season a success. These last few games with injuries isn't going to change anything.

It's definitely a bummer Ball, Randle, Ingram and Kuzma only got 30 games together, but yeah, this was absolutely a successful season. Relatively speaking, of course.

Given that we're still not a playoff team, the difference between 34 wins and 40 is a fart in the wind. The main thing is to make sure all these guys have enough time over the summer to really lock in and work on their games and come back even better. We've also got some big financial/personnel decisions to make, and we're going to have to get lucky on top of it.

But for the first time in a long time we're finally headed in the right direction.

Sedale's post sums it up perfectly we had injuries that robbed the squad of forming a real chemistry bit that said we had a damn good season.
The thing I loved was we competed every damn game.

This game today was meaningless for us. We have other decisions that are more pressing than worrying when we'll be a playoff team.

But this much is damn sure we're not as far off as media and hater ass fans think.

I see too many people mainly fans of the team worrying about what free agency will be about....let's just let it play out.

If we land something cool if not we're on a good building path regardless.

For the first time in 5 years Im good with where we're at.

Screw the haters...we already know what their sorry reason for hating is.

Big decisions coming up this summer. Hopefully this is the last season we stay out of the playoffs.

Well said both of you. I could not be happier with this season. I wish we could have seen Zo, Hart Ingram, Kuzma, and Randle finish off the season but this off season will be about the guys getting healthy and improving their games.

The important thing is that for anyone who’s been paying attention to the Lakers this season, they’ve done enough to entice free agents. I never felt that confidence going into the off season in the past 5 seasons. If they “strike out” again I won’t be disappointed because they’ve shown that there is a great foundation to build upon even without major free agent signings.

As far as the Jazz...good team but not a contender. I think I would know what a contender looks like been watching this game too damn long to know.

Last time the Jazz was a contender they had 10 and 32 running for them.....and even then I perfectly predicted their demise to the Bulls twice.

They might win their first round series but nothing is happening past that.

Was out doing stuff today and couldn't see the game. Looks like the SB Lakers took a hard loss to Utah.

Injuries have been nagging us all year. Here's to a healthy 18-19 campaign next year. Also.... here's to a successful offseason that puts us talking playoff seeding this time next year.

Can we actually cut lopez. That was the scrubbiest of scrub performances that you could put out.

Glad i didn't watch this one and opted for wrestlemania instead but damn. Did Gobert own him that badly?

Also Ennis scoring 22  This current incarnation of the lakers (without Ingram, Kuzma or anyone really worth anything outside of Randle and Hart) is probably worse than the 76ers at the beginning of the process. If we played this way the whole season we wouldn't have made 10 wins.

Fire the medical staff because these guys cannot remain healthy to save themselves either.

On top of our 2 big name F.A's (or trading for Kawhi, hopefully), we need some depth.

I like their team though, Mitchell would have to become a harden level player for them to contend, anything can happen he is awesome

We could get Jesus in FA, I don't give a flying ****....but if Josh Hart is not a regular part of our core guys next year I will go berserk.
Minimum 25 mins a game. Period.
What a damn fine draft we had, I still can't believe it.

Luke Walton deserves a ton of credit for developing some of his guys. Kuzma has been great all season, and for a while now Hart is looking very good.

Lakeshow has really fizzled out lately, but it's due to injuries and not effort.

Thanks for being a decent visitor.

Yeah, I have full and complete confidence that Luke will be a great coach. He’s well on his way. High IQ, good at Xs and Os but he’s also very good at inspiring them; holding guys accountable while making them believe in themselves. The defensive end is looking promising. On the offensive end he has shown impressive versatility given all the lineup changes etc.

You’ve got yourselves one hell of a special talent in that rookie yourselves, btw. Good coach, too. I see many intense playoffs series in our near future.
