As a Laker fan and someone who has grown to love the LA radio shows, I listen to the podcasts and TuneIn radio all day long while at work. So I heard it for myself while it was happening.

I just wish we'd all collectively forget about him. He's a fan, like you and I. He just has more of a voice. And If I came out and yelled "Lonzo is better than Kawhi," people wouldn't care. Rightfully so. And we should all take the same approach to him.

Wasn't a shot at you by the way. We're all guilty of this.

Totally agree. I can't stand the guy, but he really is such a polarizing figure. The ridiculousness of his statements almost beg for people to comment and laugh.

And no offense taken. All good.

He's an idiot but you gotta shut him up with the free agent stuff coming up.

He's popping off about players naming players. he's funny. the Talk about Big Baller brand is great but you can't run your mouth when Lonzo played like he did this season. get at least 20 points a game. improve on your shooting then Lavar can talk about Lonzo but he aint Curry Yet. and so Far ALl Lavar has been is a glorified Hype Man.

His youngest son made more money than any high school kid has based off his own work and image for playing.

His middle son fd up at UCLA but made far more than he would with those bastards at UCLA selling tickets off his name, image, and exploiting him without giving him a penny like a damn fool.

He basically made his son millionaires at 16 and 19 before they touch the nba yet he blew up their careers?

Yup. They can pretty much kiss whatever slim hopes they had of playing professionally. Not just in the NBA, but anywhere else goodbye. Who’s going to deal with that circus for mediocre talent? And lol yourself — how much do you think they pay in Lithuania?

They aren’t kissing anything goodbye when one at the very least will be on a summer league and g league team this coming year.

And the youngest still is getting offers to play overseas again.

They got paid high 6 figures to be a spectacle in Lithuania which they were. Facebook watch paid them for the reality show and rights to broadcast the showcase games. They made money with ppp up shops all over China.

LaVar has generated more for his kids in terms of media attention and money outright than the NCAA ever would have done for them. The NCAA would have exploited the **** out of their image, their name, Lonzo, lavar, and we both know it. They would have also tried to not give them anything for it. Instead lavar got them experience playing professionally, showed them another country, made them great money for any 19 and 16 year old, and they both are still looking at professional careers.

Just because AAU and the NCAA didn’t win and exploit them doesn’t mean lavar lost or hurt them.

*He was offered 4 Billion dollars from Nike and Adidas and turned it down.
*Zo would be much better playing with Gelo since he feels comfortable with him. It would even make him shoot better.
*If Kawhi comes to the Lakers, it would still be Lonzo's team because he is the one that makes everyone better. Kawhi just does he thing, but Zo is the best player and leader.
* Lavar couldn't name a good coach in the league, but said he is the best coach not coaching. Also said his jab about Luke losing control of the team is what got them to play better.

That dude is an absolute nut job.

Facebook offered me 4 billion when my old friend and business partner (Mark) froze me out. I took it.

That's real. You can't make that up.

Did Facebook really pay them high 6 figures? I can't imagine any team besides Zalgiris can pay that much for a player.

If you have a myopic view, then sure, he didn't blow up their careers. Thinking the younger brothers are already millionaires is misguided. It was reported the younger brothers would make at best 500 Euros a month while playing in Lithuania. The FB deal is reported to worth millions...however, how much of this money do you think actually belongs to the younger sons. Lavar's net worth is pegged around 4 mil; how much do you think his younger sons are worth?

Based on the fact stuff like the Kardashian’s, Toral bellas, and the like have all had such a long shelf life, the Ball boys are making 6 figures at least yearly for probably the next 5-10 years which is still more than most fathers could ever generate for their kids at their ages. Lavar didn’t hurt them at all

Damn shame he ruined the youngest(LaMelo) career like he did. Although I didn't like his game he was a high school star with a full ride to UCLA. Now he's not playing anywhere and he's stripped of his college eligibility. Unbelievable

UCLA and NCAA wanted to exploit LiAngelo Ball so badly that they suspended him for the whole season while still providing him room, board, tuition, tutoring, mentorship to their school...
