Trading up for Doncic?

Post#1 » by Spens1 » Tue Jun 19, 2018 11:43 am

Givony apparently is saying that he could fall as low as 8. Should we look at him potentially. I mean he is our type of guy, versatile, winning mentality, does a lot of things well.

Now we don't have a lot of pieces to move up with (those bloody Nash and Howard deals killed us) but we do have some still and can take on cap depending.

If he's there at 6,7 or 8, should the conversation not at least be had about maybe dealing Ball or even Kuz or taking on cap (like Faried + 14 or Mahimi and 15, then packaging up picks + hart or something) to move up.

If we havent word from Lebron and George by draft night, Im all about take on salary or trade Ball OR Kuzma (+fillers) for Doncic.
Im beting Doncic will have a better rookie season than Simmons had.

Yes, we should. I've said this in other threads but I would absolutely give up Lonzo Ball for Doncic.

If Lonzo had a good rookie year with 10/7/7 with really terrible shooting, then Luka would probably double the points with much better shooting and also much better FT %. Also Doncic is really good at drawing fouls something that Lonzo couldn't do either.

Fall as low at 8? No way....I highly doubt he even lands outside of the top 4.

Absolutely not, Lonzo Ball will have a better career than Luka Doncic.

He just won the League with Real Madrid.

Had a sick one legged 3 pointer which was just lol.

Do people really think he will fall to 8. Dreamland.

I kinda hope he lands at Sacto. That **** organization is run so poorly it would make our chances of snapping him up a couple of years down the line that much better. It's not good for Luka but...........

I am VERY high on him. I've seen a lot of him with Real Madrid and in my humble opinion his floor is best European player ever.

He is the only guy who i would move Lonzo for and i love Lonzo.

He's a 6-8 Deron Williams. he's like a bull.

Can shoot not the best shooter. but you can just see the skill when he's on the court.

He won't get past Dallas the are very high on him. and might trade up to get him. Dallas drafts him at 5.

I would trade for him. Luke kind of player.
