Thing is, the media are pretty much predisposed to clown him... His workout would have to be pretty impressive to get them to do anything other than take shots at him because that's what's most fans want to hear about him...

That said, I think it's pretty clear he didn't have a pretty impressive workout... He'll probably still get a camp invite somewhere, but I feel like we've done all we're going to for him just setting up the workout.

But, I can tell seeing him last night on the sportscentral

He looks thinner in the face. Lost that baby fat boy look.

I would see him as a not so athletic 3 pointer shooter.

He is not going to be the best defender but a 6-6 Shooter that you can bring in from time to time to get 3's.
He's not a starter but a guy you can just bring in to get a few quick 3's but in the playoffs he doesn't have the defense to guard.

He is a good 3 pointer shooter.

The reality is we're talking about a guy who barely moved the needle on a C-league Lithuanian team. He scored some points, but that team was not competitive in their league. I'm not sure why any team would invite him to camp, outside of his name? OTOH he has actually worked out for Lakers and maybe some other teams, so who knows.

I pile on and make jokes about him like other people because this is just a basketball forum after all, but I don't wish him ill will or anything like that. Just hard to see how he realistically fits into the NBA. Lavar can't speak this one into existence.

I dont know how to evaluate someone like LiAngelo. He sure doesn't look like an nba athlete but more like a big man in a pick up game. OTOH he can shoot and he may be more athletic than he looks. In a best case scenario he loses 20 pounds and becomes a half-decent shooting guard who can pass a bit, work a bit from the post and doesn't get totally destroyed on defense.

Being the brother of Lonzo is reason enough to get a chance to prove himself, so i dont mind if the Lakers give him a shot in Summer league.
