Man. I've never seen so many clean blocksid shot. They seemed like they were constantly wondering if they should be passing.

Credit to Portland. They simply beat the Lakers

Rondo and Bron looked fantastic together all pre-season and again last night. I don't think that is going to be the "move" they make to change the lineup.

His deal gives us a ton of flexibility. If he keeps playing at this level we may use Ball as part of a deal to get another star and sign Rondo to a longer deal. If he gets injured or starts sucking we let him go.

Either way I'm OK with it.... I want the Lakers to be great again and if it's one or the other helping us get there it's not as important as getting there. Right now Rondo is showing some serious chemistry with Bron. No way I see Luke breaking that up.

16 straight wins.

It's ok. I'd still trade all those super important regular season wins for those wins portland allowed us when we won in 2000, like game 7. But I guess we all know playoffs just aren't really the Portland Trailblazers' deal since they won as many playoff games last year as our rebuilding team.

It’s not going to be broken up. Not as long as Ball isn’t beating him fo the starting job. Like TyCobb, I love Lonzo’s game.
Since the 1976 merger LAL 11, CHI 6, BOS 6, SAS 5, GSW 4

PG: Luka / Vincent / Bronny
SG: Smart / Reaves / Knecht / Mañon

Yeah..right summer league champions...Does that mean anything? Sadly...Nope...All it took was a non all star having a career night(rarely) just to beat a Laker team who can't buy a 3 point basket(rarely). You have to do better than that to troll here...

The poster also brought up your playoff record last year, which produced the same amount of wins as a lottery team

Yeah.... I see glimpses of it as well. Inconsistency combined with the "now" urgency now that we have an aging superstar has put him behind a good veteran. If Rondo keeps playing this way it's going to be hard for him to be a starter again but then again does he need to be a starter to be a big part of this?... I say no. He actually fits better with Bron on the bench IMHO... at least at this point.
