Just a thought, if no defense Swaggy P, managed to be one of the better defenders at one point of his tenure with the Lakers, could we hope for a similar or at least decent D from Beasley?

I think Beasley could play D. What I want to see is Beasley learning how to pass.

REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY excited about this.

I think this is a guy who can really help us win a championship. if he buys in and is all about winning and focused. he can be almost all star level with Lebron. playing with Lebron we don't know what he can be. Like I say with Lebron the paint is open the spacing is there. and he can get to the basket. we know he can get his own score. and he can shoot. so he can actually be Lebrons scottie Pippen no defense. but the offensive compliment Lebron needs.

The guy has great ability. he's put together great seasons. look at what he did when he was on Minnesota. Miami and New York. he's always knew how to score the ball. Pot is legal in Cali.

all good.

And I'll be the first to say this. This Signing is about one thing KEVIN DURANT. Kevin's best basketball friend boy since AAU is Michael Beasely. so I could see this as to start working on KD with LeBron here makes sense. I'm excited. great signing.

Lots of players with lots to prove. Beasley, Ball, Rondo, Hart, Stephenson, Ingram, Kuzma, Zubac, the rookies. LeBron. I like this group of ballers!

If he expects 20 min a game... he will need to be the answer to who plays backup center.

Is it expected that he'll make it thru the season in LA now? Could he help someone else if he's waived?

it's fairly bizarre that he's been both awful, nailed to the bench, and also quiet about it. Something else must be going on.
The quiet part still makes him better than Melo, though

Doesn't he have private issue that is/was preventing him from suiting up due to lack of stamina?

This guy hasn't even had enough PT to show anything. Two passes, one jumpshot missed, one rebound, and then he disappears from the rotation. Luke is the one to blame.

I don't understand why he isn't getting backup 4 minutes while Rondo is out.

Dude can play the 4, he did it all season for the Knicks.
