We have to be realistic fellas, the goal is 1 superstar to play along side LBJ & the young guys with a couple veterans for support... That being said, we throw a max deal at KD, KL & Klay (behind the scenes) & whoever takes it, is OUR guy... I have a feeling it will be KD after the drama... Lineup:

PG: Ball & Rondo
SG: Klay/KD & Hart
SF: LBJ & Ingram
PF: Kuzz & Wagner
C: McGee & Chandler

That squad works for me fellas... We are closer than you guys think... Top 7 teams in west are within 2.5 games of each other... I am not a fan of Ingram (doesn’t fit) but I need more than Beal & his $27 million a year (no FA this offseason) to get me excited...

Except for winning 65 games and being one hamstring away from a probable championship.

If we get the chance to sign KD or Kawhi, we do it without thinking. Klay is next. After that, you have to think long and hard on throwing money at 2nd tier proven all stars like Butler or Kemba, or younger guys like Middleton or Tobias Harris. If we do really well this year, we might repeat the plan of signing guys to 1 year deals and hope to do better in 2020.

Lebron is versatile enough to fit next to whomever we get.

We need someone to play the Luke Walton role. Always in the right place, good eye, good passer, no need for the spectacular. We have him already but good luck convincing LBJ to model his game after Luke Walton’s, especially if you’re Luke Walton.

Anyway, if Lonzo handles more and LBJ deferred a bit more, we’d be better off as a team. LBJ tends to start the offense over when he gets the rock, rarely hands it back over which is a pity when Lonzo is on his team.
Since the 1976 merger LAL 11, CHI 6, BOS 6, SAS 5, GSW 4

PG: Luka / Vincent / Bronny
SG: Smart / Reaves / Knecht / Mañon
SF: LaRavia / Rui / Thiero
PF: Bron / Vando / Kleber
C: Ayton / Hayes / Koloko

Would happy to get him. But, cant see this happen

I'd settle for him, but ideally it'd still be Kawhi then KD.

Disagree with us being a better team with Lonzo controlling the ball more. Great for his individual development but that doesn't make us a better team. I mean, its nothing against Lonzo, because he's obviously a great floor general, but he's not Lebron.

If KD or Kawhi are available then I say go with them no questions asked. I don't think Kawhi is leaving Toronto, KD seems more likely but then again not sure how he feels about the optics of it. If Magic can work his magic then so be it.

If not them, I'd see what kind package could be put together for Anthony Davis and take a hard look at Kemba.
