Yeah, I was gonna post a thread about this in the GB, but good thing I looked here first. Kuzma, should definitely start. His scoring is way more explosive than Ingram’s, better shooter and also gives effort defensively. Maybe start them both if anything, but I’m not even viewing Ingram as the better player.

in the ever shifting roster lineup

1...lebron
2...kuzma/hart
3...mcgee
4...ingram
5...ball

but i think 4, 5, 6, 7 can be switched out in many ways

Kuzma is playing really well with Bron. He moves without the ball better than anyone we have. He played some pretty good team and man defense last light (especially late). He's not shooting great from distance at the moment and has missed a few easy ones at the rim as well but I think that will even out. I think he should stay in the starting lineup as long as it's not at center.

Ingram is better suited for the second unit IMHO. He tends to be a ball stopper at times and that unit would be better with he and Ball.

i think ingram should come off the bench and it's not a "captive of the moment" thing.

1...starting is just an ego thing anyway, and on this team players 3 to 8 are interchangeable. and the way walton is moving players in and out(he sat lebron with 6.5 min to go vs denver, for christ's sake),,,does it really matter.
2...i have always questioned ingram's fire. if he comes off the bench one of two things will happen. either he'll cry and whine OR it'll light his fire. either way, it's a positive for the lakers

Kuzma is taking that next step, really looks comfortable out there next to Lebron.

I’ve been seeing this for about a month or so. He’s also been concentrating on the defensive glass a lot more as well.

Last year he showed all the pieces but rarely put them together in the same stretch of games. This last month or so he’s been putting them together. You can see his confidence rising.

He is finally playing like 17-18 Kuzma.
