Svi B Wear

Post#1 » by snaquille oatmeal » Mon Dec 10, 2018 7:39 pm

Svi (6'8") is a rookie that needs development. though he is known as a sniper from 3 he is only shooting 35.5 from 3 and 32.6 overall. he has T-Rex arms and is not a game changer at the defensive end. he has shown that he is more than a shooter in Summer League/pre-season and has a lot of potential for the future.

Wear (6'9") is 28 years old and although may not have a higher ceiling than Svi, he is in his prime now and seems to be better now than Svi and is NBA ready. he is averaging 18 points in 31 minutes in the G-League. He is shooting 41.2 from 3 and 46.4 overall. should this two switch teams for now? have wear with the Lakers and Svi getting burn with the South Bay?

I like Svi, but I think now, Travis would help more.

where you at?

Svi shot the ball way better on the road trip. I’d keep that going.

He should only touch the ball when he's wide open in the corner. Other then that I cringe every time I see him put the ball on the floor.

I’d like to see both Svi and Wear in the third unit.

Is there a "release both and sign a waived player at the deadline" choice coming.....

That's a little harsh but why the interest in the very end of the bench?. I'd say if either one of them is relevant to our team then we're not where we want to be.

That’s our biggest problem. In other words, we’re doing just fine. Our record proves it, LBJ is smiling. Double triple double Magic is on.

Why not try to fix our third unit which currently lacks a PF? What’s our depth at the four should LBJ get injured for a few games? Wear looked hood the other day in a GL game I watched. Solid 3&D. Shot’s falling.

OK, I get that but the majority of this team will be different next year. "Development" days are over for the most part.

what you need to realize as well is that next year our second and third unit are gonna look like trash because we won't have money to sign the KCPs, Rondos, and Stevensons of the world. our third string is going to need a cheap asset like Wear.

Then he needs to be playing in the G league not rotting on the end of the bench. Svi as well. They are both in need of development. Svi especially.
