30pts and 20rbs and it wasn’t even close.

Paul piece is laying it out there right now spitting truth. says that these efforts are wasted. He’s in his prime and he’s being wasted.

Writing is on the wall.

Fcuk off the so called small market GMs crying about the lakers.

So this is why we kept Zu for so long. That spin move dunk was awesome!

The league has done everything short of telling players where they can and cannot play... It's about as much "1 Market" as it can possibly be...
And all it's really done is motivate the top players in the league, even more to try to join up somewhere... LA is always going to be LA... NY is always going to be NY... It is what it is... You can't tap those huge Markets on one hand and then hamstring them into sucking so that Boise can have a bitchin NBA team, unless you want that huge market to dry up for you... The 'Small Market' teams have to work harder... No way around it... But they wouldn't exist if it wasn't for markets like LA and NY... So suck it up.

I don't like the way we're beating up Ingram's body chasing shooting guards around the perimeter and I've been in favor of bringing him off the bench at sf to play the Ginobili role. But after seeing Hart starting at sg the last handful of games I'm going to step away from the Ingram off the bench stance. His length on the perimeter changes the geometry of the game as does McGee's length around the rim.

With Ingram and Rondo back I hope we can finally get the best of both worlds with our offense and defense. All we need is Mcgee to get back.

I love the performance from Zubac. That's the type of effort you love to see the next man up give. Reminds me of the Golden State Warriors depth in the front court for the last 5 years (excluding this year's roster for them).

Lebron gets the triple double......while feeling under the weather lol. Rondo with 9 assists off the bench, and Lakers not sucking as much from the free throw line. Plus Celtics lost. What a wonderful Friday lol.

out of town and not very good reception to watch the game. but did see the highlights.

Zu definitely deserves some credit. those blocks were clutch. hope he takes off from here.

Nice W, amazing game from Zubac. Hopefully he can keep it up!

Davis is a beast. That monster statline and he was really sick, that guy will be an all-time great. Gotta do whatever it takes to get him.

Just as I was giving up on Zubac (even lowered his 2K rating :P ) he gives me this game. You could see a change in lateral movement, conditioning, effort, being in the game mentally. If he gives 90% of this almost every game he's our starting center. And that's a big **** if with him. He's shown he can hang with the best of them. JaVale and Tyson are really helping him grow and him battling with Mo every practice will elevate both of their games.

Solid game from us. Loved defense and game-winning plays from Ingram and Ball. Say what you want about Ingram and his iso-tendencies but he has a height mismatch and loves that mid range and he was effective but off-ball players are standing still instead of creating back screens, pin downs and cutting so he can pass. He is literally watching over shoulder for 1-2 seconds to see if someone is moving but since everyone ball watches he has to get to work.
"All these guys who run these organizations who talk about analytics, they have one thing in common: They're a bunch of guys who ain't never played the game, they never got the girls in high school, and they just want to get in the game."

Maybe Zu and Ingram stepping up will allow us to keep Lonzo when we eventually trade for AD.

Zu's a young guy and seems mentally even younger to me. Last night the team "needed" a big game from him and he didn't let them down. Most of his minutes under Luke have been end of the game stuff or a few minutes here or there in meaningful positions to fill in for a guy with foul trouble.

I think he will play better as a starter on this squad..... it will never happen but Bron and Ball understand the Pick and Roll stuff pretty well and Zu's always shown a "feel" for that.

Defensively he's still a softer type but he is looking a little leaner and showing a little push back. Last night was a great game. He's had about 4 others like that in his short career. In looking at the game logs.... each time he did he was given paltry minutes the next few games so he didn't get to grow his confidence..... just back to the end of the bench.

I rewatched the game today. I didn't get to see much of the final 5 minutes. In watching it again today I'd have to say that we got a little lucky we didn't blow it. 1 point over the final 2:26.... from the 4 minute mark we moved from our typical offensive flow back into the isolation stuff. First 2 possessions for Ingram that were empty.... then 6 straight for Bron that yielded no points. Then one for Ingram that got us the 1 point.... then Kuzma shot a "sole possession" 3... then 2 more by Bron.

This stuff may be working against teams in the regular season but my guess is that we won't win a series against a good opponent doing that. The motion that creates the easy shots stops and we get Bron ball with a few Ingram isolations. So frustrating to see all of the ball movement during the first 44 minutes then that to end the game.

Our defense played very well to end the game and that end was the one who held on for us.
