He also quit TNT outright after getting criticism.

He couldn’t get a meeting with Paul George. He made headlines for disrespecting Luke. He got the team fined twice for tampering. He let all the leaks happened. And after the meeting today that was supposed to make things better but told the media that he New Orleans didn’t act in good faith when trying to trade everyone that he was supposed to be addressing. He essentially took a good mood they built from a team practice and win in Boston and made it about Magic like he does everything else he touches. But the thing is when he touches basketball outside showtime it usually goes bad

This is why some of us rejected the idea of Magic as pres from day one. Jerry and Ryan West should’ve been pursued all out. Everyone loves the smile and magnetism and the brand of Magic. I do, too.

But few Lakers fans admit to seeing that Magic puts himself before team whenever tf he feels he ‘has to’.
