This was kids play compared to the "loose ball foul" on LeBron he did. Bron was holding his shoulder after it as well. He basically got his arm under Bron's then used the leverage to swing him to the floor. It had nothing to do with the play at all. Paul does this crap all the time. There are YouTube videos of him going under players in the air, flopping in front of others and just about any punk move to gain an advantage. Why the NBA constantly just gives him endorsement deals with the League level endorsers is beyond me. If there is justice in the world his career ends with a significant injury because one of his punk moves backfires. He did injure himself 4 years ago just before the playoffs on a flop which was poetic justice.

Agreed. They hate on him only because he is not Kobe. Only LAL 'fans' could ask for LeBron to be traded away when he signed full-on 4yrs without NTC. Laughable

That's true for some, but you failed go mention loafing on D, self anointing himself as the GOAT, Klutch's presence, taking better care of Chris Paul (who tried to break his arm) in the Rondo scuffle than his teammates, sabotaging our coach because it's not his personal yes-man, not being in shape to run at the beginning of the season, and trying to ship off all our youth.

I don't hate the guy and I appreciate that he's the first able bodied star we've had in a long time and gives us a fighting chance, but all of those things are irritating.

Like Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Dwight, Nash, Payton, Malone didn't have problems yet only some of these are hated by LAL fans.

Payton and Malone were rental ring chasers so apples to oranges there and the rest at least had a ton of goodwill built up with the fan base too quickly for people to turn on them like people easily and quickly do with lebron who has been the opposition up until this year. I agree the hate is widely reactionary and unwarranted, but contributing to our success will cure that to a degree

Hate that the narrative about this game has become "LeBron can carry the Lakers to the playoffs"... Not that the young guys stepped up and help the banged up star to a tough win... No... It was all leBron...

You know the sad part all the Bronsexuals think it was just him and him alone?

when we had Ingram/Bullock stepping up among others like Macgee playing sick ass Defense tapping ball out for 2nd possessions etc but nope it was all Lebum that carried us too Victory.

Edit: I can't wait for Ball to come back and show us some even more defense:) let's hope he plays well when back ;)

The funny part is you're probably upset that the Lakers won because you can't blame Lebron for a loss. Why'd you delete some of your hater posts from the game after they won?

We played decent defense in the half court throughout the game with a few exceptions early. We sucked in transition defense in my opinion because of not having a true guard on the floor. Too many times Ingram/Bron/Kuzma got caught trying to rebound and no one was dropping back.

The team started clicking offensively in the late 3rd quarter.... now you can say LeBron did it alone or you can say that we quit the dual iso offense when Ingram went out.... either way the ball started moving, Kuzma touched the ball and we started to pick up the pace. LeBron was a key for sure but he didn't "carry" us. LeBron definitely keyed the final push offensively.

I'm not sure why we aren't going with Rondo starting quite frankly and bring Ingram off the bench. The ball moves much more freely when one of Ingram or Bron are in the game.

Yeah playoff lebron did not show up last night. The rest of the squad brought their defense to all time high effort levels. Lebron still looks like he's playing his way into basketball shape. Honestly, looked like preseason form.

Amen, DD. My feelings exactly.

I wasn’t a Kobe fanatic either because I’m a fan of the Lakers, not any individual player. It’s a team sport. I hated watching Kobe go one on five while his team mates watched.

LeGroin was behaving like a slimy b-movie producer during the AD debacle and now in the aftermath. Sell out your loyal friends to get a new super friend. Then deflect all blame, never admit any fault, only watch out for yourself, stab whomever in the back, justify it all as business.

He’d better put up right now and be a leader who pulls from the front; not stab from the back or whip from atop. He needs to prove himself loyal to the kids or I want him traded.

For me, it is all about the name in the front of the jersey and not in the back... I appreciates all players from the past and present equally the same but only one name that is above them all... LAKERS!!!

The length... are you **** kidding me? New Orleans is a gottdamn embarrassment for turning down that charity offer for a soft AD. Ingram is so blessed with his physical gifts and he's finally starting to develop his strength. Just need patience. Goes for all of our youth.

Agree 100%. Many Laker fans were bummed we didnt get AD, but time will show we dodged a bullet, especially when Ingram starts to develop along with Ball/Kuzma.

I’ve said this on the GB but AD is not a superstar nor top 6. There could potentially be 10 or more players that have a bigger impact on getting wins for their team than AD does. Reminds me of K Love on the wolves, high stats guy that thrives in a losing system built around him.

I agree and happy that the AD trade didn't happen but man, AD is a superstar. Easily a top 6 if healthy.
