Still hate the Sunday whites. But we were trumped by the 'key-lime-pie roadies' the T-Wolves rocked. Holy hell those were brutal. Seems like it would be hard to feel like a winner in those things.

If teams wanna 1-up our losing sunday whites....be my guest. I'll take it.

We 21-3 and people trying to oust players on the team that are on good contracts and clearly have the talent to be a good fit on this team. He hasn’t been great but I’m not ready to give up hope and sell low. This is like the guys last year that wanted to deal bi for roco. Just short sighted maneuvers
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Man, I remember during the Kobe/Shaq years when those two would just impose their will on teams it made the Lakers feel so unbeatable. This AD/Lebron duo has a little bit of that aura of dominance...

And it hasn’t even been 25 games...

Are you high? Sell low???? Have you watched Bertans this year?

The Wizards would be the ones selling low FWIW.
Short sighted maneuver my ass. With a shooter like Bertans, I'll cut my balls off if we ever score under 120 again.

Great win, unstoppable offense but our defense wasn't good yesterday night. Mavs lost at home, Nuggets too. We are pulling away from the 2nd/3rd seeds.

The Wolves shot 52%, scored 125 points on us at Staples, and lost. We have an offensive talent level that’s simply filthy dirty sick.

Yeah, relying on scoring 126 plus is not a good long term plan. Defense.

AD ... The defense on KAT in the first half. Oh, and 50 on the other end. Must suck to play against a 6’11” beast with elite skills for all five positions.

Glad you're not our GM. You were probably elated when the Lakers traded Zubac for Muscala. You think there's any chance Bertans would average 11 and 9 FGA and 3PA, respectively?

Kuzma is averaging a full 6 shots less than last year. He's clearly an afterthought on offense... he's barely touching the ball out there. All things considered, I think he's doing fine. He needs to up his TS% a bit... even this is only slightly off from his career average of around 55%.

Kuz will have to accept his current role on the Lakers is likely the norm going forward. His prospect of a larger role is likely on another team.

I'd only trade Kuz for the right ball handling guard. Trading Kuz for a guy like Bertans makes absolutely no sense.

Watching tonight, it seems clear Caruso has passed him for 6th man... Or Howard... So he's now at like 8th or 9th man at best.

He just doesn't seem to be playing at the same speed as this team as far as reactions etc. Now that we're a legit challenger, it's like Kuz is back at rookie levels again... Maybe not his fault but we're just so much better now, everyone needs to get better too, and it kind of seems to have caught him flat-footed.

I do think at some point, you have to start wondering if a change of scenery isn't best for him... His value is just going to keep falling if he doesn't do something special soon.
He's kind of at the point now where all he can hope for is a solid showing in the Playoffs, ala Tatum.

In a way he's basically the same player on offense... the main difference is his shots, touches and minutes are way down. Shooting percentage is around is career average TS of 55%. I kind of feel bad for him. A larger role on this team is simply not possible. He's easily an 18-20 point scorer on the right team (non playoff team).
